This was an odd mix off a laptop desk portal. It only had the USB as a VGA option. This itemworked beautifully with the monitor.

This adapter does allow me to attach my old Samsung Monitor to my new Dell desktop. I was, after much searching for drivers, to actually get it to work. However, I cannot adjust the resolution, so I've got my nice main monitor and my second, "looks like 1992" crappy resolution monitor.

USB connector did not make good contact when plugged into any of the 3 USB ports on my new Notebook PC. Also did not make good contact on any of the 7 ports on my USB hub. The USB plug on this item appears to be TOO LONG. The only way I could get it to work was to push very hard on the connector and hold it in my USB ports. Obviously a defective product. I bought a different brand adapter and it worked great right out of the box. I returned this item and Amazon refunded my money Immediately and did not wait to receive the item back. Buyer BEWARE on this item.

When connected to USB 2.0 resolution is only 800x600. Description is misleading as you must read FAQ from driver to understand what is backward compatibility!

Works great! Driver is stored right on the device via embedded storage.

Perfect for my needs to connect HP laptop to LCD Projector.

We are having disconnecting issues on 2 monitors, I ordered 5 multi monitor adapters, 2 out of 5 not working properly. The product is not reliable, I might change all your adapters, I don't have time to unplug and plug back the adapters hoping to function properly.
