Hiwowsport Carbon Fiber Racing Steering Wheel

This wheel is beautiful and very, very rigid. Like the pictures it is 1 piece and has smooth lines. The carbon fiber is real and its obvious by looking at the wheel. I ordered this because my car has a power ratio box with no power steering pump, the wheel must be manhandled and cheap junk won't last long at all. I've tried to bend it by hand after being mounted, most wheels will at least wiggle a little bit but this thing is rock solid! It's also very light. The wheel is smooth and feels nice in the hand. Its thick so you get a lot of purchase and it even has some wavey bumps in the back where your fingers fit nicely. I never tried it out in the car with the as purchased finish though because I planned to wrap it in leather and make myself a custom piece, which I did before mounting it. It did feel like a sin to cover up such a gorgeous piece with leather but I had my heart set on leather. I used a universal 6 bolt steering adapter which had 12 holes total. The smaller diameter set of 6 were correct. I also used a BBS wheel cap to fill the horn button since this doesn't come with one. For people who care about packaging this was wrapped every inch, carefully, with sheets of foam and tape. Careful when removing the tape with blades not to scratch the resin!(though it may buff out pretty easily)

For those of us that have bought after market steering wheels before , we know that OBVIOSLY steering wheels like this don’t come with anything else BUTthe steering wheel. You have to buy adaptor hub to actually mount it . That being said . I bought this wheel for my drift IS300 that I also street use . Not only does this wheel feel and look great but it is really sturdy and super light weight . With most steering wheels you want a limited amount of slip to be able to catch and release , and this did great . I usually use driving gloves on the track anyway so as far as grip it did as well as any other wheel. It aucks that they made such a limited amount because many people I know would want one . Great wheel , great price , and great addition to any car enthusiasts mod list

I mean... they didnt lie? But didnt tell the whole truth either, its carbon fiber SKINNED. But generously layed carbon atleast, so ya got 3 layers of real carbon fiber, and the inside is fiber glass. Now, for the money its actually worth it. Its really strong (carbon fiber and fiber glass are both lightweight and strong) lighter than 80% of steel wheels out there (and stronger-ish) and looks gorgeous. But, I wish they wouldve said its carbon skinned (I figured it was for the price, lol) You'd need 5-6 of these wheels to make just one 100% pure carbon fiber steering wheel. Also not really supposed to mix the two together, but for it just being a steering wheel, its fine. (not much strain on it) google why you shouldn't mix the two together for a part that is abused for than a wheel is. I drilled the center holes a little bigger, that's how I found this out. Also, its hollow on the grip part(still strong af tho)

Don't let the generic name fool you into thinking it is going to be a cheaply made product. This steering wheel looks and feels amazing. There was no pitting, scrapes, or blemishes. I put the steering wheel face down on a flat surface and the entire steering wheel sat flush. When placing it on the dish end, it was also flat. The back side of the steering wheel has raised "bumps" for added comfort and grip. It is unbelievably light at 1.13LBs / 512.5 grams! Most carbon fiber steering wheels are $250+ so this is a steal at $119.00 (at the time of purchase). Please note you will need an steering wheel hub adapter, horn button/delete, and mounting hardware to complete installation.

This product is worthless! It didn’t come with the necessary hardware ie, the mounting screws and it wasn’t advertised as hardware not included. Very very deceiving.

No it doesn't come with a horn button and no doesn't come with hardware. Go to Home Depot and spend $2 on flat head Allen bolts. Way sturdier than my previous momo 350mm. Carbon fiber is laid smooth, even, and the finish clear looks great. Overall, I am more than satisfied. This wheel could be listed for $200 and I would still buy it again! I have it mounted in my 1977 280z (no power steering / stock wheel size is 380mm) and even with the significantly smaller steering wheel I have no issues.

Full Carbon however it does not feel like it has any sort of frame on the inside which makes it extremely lightweight but a little less sturdy than I would like. Still for the price it is insane and I daily drive with it and it does not bother me at all. Best for the dollar Carbon wheel that I could find.

I initially got this for what I thought was going to be my 2002 Mitsubishi ralliart but ended up not getting the car due to unforseen circumstances. Instead I got a 2002 subaru impreza wrx and this fit on it perfectly. Install was ridiculously simple and it fits like a glove. I would definitely recommend this with the NRG 2.5 quick release kit. Only downside is that since it is carbon fiber, its slick. I recommend a cover for it; perhaps sewing one on would make it easier to grip.

It seems to be pretty strong and it is super light like lighter than the box it came in and it really is made out of carbon fiber for the price you can't beat that
