Recommended with some reservations...
It will get the brass shiny, even more so than new brass.Context: I use a concrete mixer with 15 pounds of corn cob media. All of my brass is washed in detergent and tumbled with stainless steel media the first time. After reloading and firing again I collect it immediately and tumble in the corn cob media. For this test I tumbled 100 rounds; I usually tumble 500 rounds at a time after detergent wash. However, I am not completely satisfied. I test everything before committing and the first bottle I shook and then dropped 3 drops on a clean round and polished by hand; no issues there as it polished nicely by hand (think military brass buckles) in less than a minute so I think the basic formula is good. I then shook it again 30 times (I grasp it in both hands and try to imitate a paint shaker) and slowly added it to the media while the mixer was running. It squirted out looking sort of thin. I cut open the bottle and and discovered there was about 1/4 inch of the polish solidified on the bottom and about 1/8 of an inch on the side. I scraped this off and added it to the media (still running the mixer) and occasionally would break up the clumps. I guess when they say shake it, they mean _REALLY_ shake it. Eventually it mixed and I added the 100 rounds of clean brass; it polished the brass, but 4 hours is unacceptable.I shook and opened a second bottle and added it to the media. Interestingly, when I cut this second bottle open, it had mixed thoroughly and there was no need for scraping the bottle. This mix (2 bottles of 8 oz. / 96 teaspoons to 15 pounds corn cob media) polishes 100 rounds of clean brass in about 1-3/4 hours. Still too much time and wear and tear on my equipment. I am adding a 3rd bottle. Conclusion: If you mix it 3 teaspoons to a pound of (corn cob) media it will take at least 4 hours in the tumbler. Nothing lasts forever and tumblers are no exception, not to mention electricity which becomes a factor when running things half of an 8 hour day. That said, if I mix it 6 teaspoons to the pound it will shine in about 1 hour 45 minutes. After a 3rd bottle (nine teaspoons per pound of media) I am satisfied with the performance, but not the cost; at $14 for 8 oz. and having to add 3 times the advertised amount to polish in a reasonable amount of time.I am not willing to give it 3 stars because that's the equivalent of getting a D minus on an exam and it is better than that.Recommended if you polish only small amounts of brass.

Buy Nu Finish instead.
Use as directed for great results. Makes cases much shinier than walnut media alone. Corn cob works best for polishing but I like this with walnut for one stop shopping. Also helps mitigate media dust.Update: I’ve had this product now for 6months. Did a great job assisting with polishing, until now. The contents are rock solid. I used about 3-4oz and had an absence from reloading. Went to use it and was unable. Switched to Nu Finish for better results, cheaper, dual purpose and if it hardens I won’t be as upset since it’s nearly half the price for twice the volume.

polishes brass like a charm
Put it in your brass vibrator and let it do it's job - it works; smells like lemon....

Doesn't spread easily after adding to media.
I bought two bottles, one arrived pretty evaporated so was almost solid, the other was still a liquid so with a good shake/stir was useable. After shaking, I squirted into the media while the vibrating tumbler was on and it just kind of balled up like corncob worms and after several minutes was no better, so I dumped in my brass to help brake it up and a couple hours later it appears the polish was distributed and my brass had a shine. I purchased to remove some brass discolorations due to sitting around in paper boxes etc. and while 3 hours tumbling shined it up, it would take alot more time to clean really dirty brass. I expected better and think that other brands may do better. As for the bottle that showed up dried out, I got no/nada/zero response from the seller. This was the 2nd time this has happened to me in the past few months buying on Amazon where the purchase was not an amazon fullfillment. Won't be doing that again. Really, a 3 star rating is a mite generous for this product

Great! More 'second hand', open container new stuff from Amazon.
This is not a review of the brass polish - this is a complaint about getting an already opened bottle from Amazing. I'm sure that the polish will be just fine and perform exactly as listed, but I am still aggravated by receiving an opened bottle when I bought new.I realized that the safety seal had been punctured as I was shaking the polish in preparation of using it and noticed that my fingers were wet with the stuff. The image is the package and lid sitting in my sink after I rinsed the bottle and my hands.I do hope that the original buyer is enjoying his free portion of my 'new' bottle of polish. (...at least it didn't leak all over the rest of my order!

Old Bottles
Do not purchase this product. My guess the bottles are old. I used the first bottle and only got about 4 -6 rounds of cleaning before the bottle "ran out". I found more than 50% of the product was hard and dried out.I sent it back as Amazon replaced the first bottle. I just received it and this one is about 35% dried up. Won't be able to get a full bottle of use out of it.Not worth trying to get another replacement I have lots of brass to get cleaned.Looking for another brand

This will make old tarnished brass look brand new in a short amount of time!
The media could not be loaded. This stuff works hard to make old Tarnished brass look like brand new!We collect brass from all over, and most of it comes completely covered with tarnish. We wash and dry, then add to the vibrating tumbler. With in hours it goes from nasty to new!

That it actually works very well!
I have always used this product and have no complaints, I recommend to all re-loaders, just make sure you shake it often or it will harden in the bottle..

Perfect shine
Perfect with corn cob, does not clumb. Media can be reused many times, adding a drop or two of this polishing to every tumble, brass comes out of tumbler very shiny and like new looking.

like yogurt, that needs time to properly spread evenly ...
It does the job. It is a sticky white substance, like yogurt, that needs time to properly spread evenly on the media. But the cleaning time after that is 60 minutes. And cases are very shiny.
