Solar Sense Clear Zinc SPF 50 Carded Stick, 0.45 Ounces Unit

Best Product EVER. I used this in Feb. in West Indies. I am Very fair skinned and was concerned about burning. I was also concerned about using body sun screen on my face and lips. I picked this up at my local pharmacy and it's the best stuff I've ever used. NO Paraben {linked to cancer} Hypoallergenic, water resistant, greaseless and kept me from burning. Rubs in clear. I use it every day now. I am a cosmetologist and own a Hair Salon. I hope to start selling it in my business.

I LOVE this stuff. It goes on easily, is pretty clear for zinc. I am very fair, freckle and burn easily, especially on my hairline and under eye areas. This is gentle, not greasy, and it WORKS. The stick is a decent width so that you can streak it across your face and don't have to rub it in much.We also use this for my son (5 yrs old) so that he can (and does!) apply his own sunscreen, especially on his face, ears, and tickle-prone spots (neck, back of knees, etc.). A cream or lotion that I have to apply is like wrestling a greased pig - I can do it, but I'd rather not. I do check for any missed spots after he uses this, but generally he does much better with this than with any cream I've tried to let him apply.You can put this on under makeup, but do need to make sure you apply the zinc evenly first, so that your foundation doesn't cake in spots. I usually wear this and mineral powder foundation in the summer.Because it is so easy to apply, I remember to (and actually do!) reapply it as often as necessary. The container is small enough I can fit this in my pocket to take along. I would also consider this a solid, so it's great for travel (don't need to include it in your liquids bag if flying and don't need to worry about leaks!).My only complaint is that there is a pretty substantial amount of product left inside the plunger bit, which you could get out with an ice lolly stick but that defeats the point of the stick for application.

I like this product for its great coverage and it was recommended by my dermatologist. I was sent the cream not the stick. With the stick I can apply w/o sticking my fingers in the jar. (I use while playing tennis and don't want dirty fingers on my face to reapply sunscreen.) So, disappointed in creme vs. stick, not the actual product.

Found this when I was looking for something for my lips with zinc in it that would not be white. I thought I had found it. NOT!It IS white. It's NOT clear.

Not nearly as good as the solar sense I bought last year... my daughters faces burned with this new product. I miss the old stuff !!

I LOVE this sunscreen. It goes on white but turns invisible but has the highest pure zinc oxide protection I've been able to find so good physical block. I like the stick but it's less creamy so it's slightly more challenging to put on. But less messy. The cream in the jar is very creamy and easier to spread. I feel much better sending my son out to spend the entire day at summer camp when he has this on.

Easy to use if you get subnet lips. Only con is the white color but better than swollen lips. Great product!

This is an absolutely fantastic product that I've used for years. All you have to do is apply it, smooth it in with your fingers. The zinc content appears clear. It's great for those that are tired of all the sun screen brands, with varying prices, that all seem to have the same ingredients that produce skin reactions on many people. The wide mouth "tube" is much faster for applying to the face, but this thin tube takes up less space in your pocket.
