Invaluable.
Excellent!!! Maps and index enable you to find all the little, short streets as they change names!

Don't leave the room without it
Before I leave Paris this morning, I have to write about how indispensable this has been for me for a month. Never leave the room without it. It has been a great help with buses, Metro, and RER (OK, not as much there). I check it constantly.Lately all sorts of people have been asking me for directions--pull this out and they're good to go.

Written in French, not English as stated but that's ok!
A good looking, small hand guide for getting around Paris. Very detailed and will easily fit in my handbag, however it should be noted that it is indeed written in French, not English. As 90% of this book is pictures and illustrations, it's not terrible. But should be noted it is indeed French.

First or hundredth trip to Paris: don't go without this!
I first used the 1998 edition of this map and fell in love with it. This is the second one I've bought, and the updates were invaluable. I love the detail! Once you understand how to use it (on which page to find the adjoining city blocks, etc.) it'll never leave your pocket or purse in the City of Lights. Whether you travel there on foot, Metro, bus, or - gasp- by car, you'll get your money's worth. One tip: I don't use pens or highlighters in it to mark locations, as this makes a subsequent trip difficult to plan. Rather, I use Post-It flags and write on those. (If you're lucky and can find similar highlighter tape, it's even better. Try a teacher supply store.)

Tres bien!
Excellent. Good size - fits in a back pocket or small shoulder bag - and pretty durable. The type is small, so bring your glasses. it has a good Metro map in the back. Good indexes. I find it convenient to see an entire arrondissement in one view. Others may want a different view.

A must have for Paris
The perfect companion to roaming the streets - and embracing the French “flaneur” vibe. I’ve been using a version of this guide since the 90’s - and happy to have finally purchased the updated one! It’s about 200 pages but very slim and easily could fit in a small purse - I prefer to use a map vs. my phone in crowded spots or in cities. There’s details on metro, RER, bus lines etc.

Taxi Stands, Metro, and Rue Cler- Oh my!
Historic Paris walk without flaunting a cell- 'Paris par Arrondissement'! Take a solid ten minutes to get up to speed and voila. It's the size of pulp fiction and filled with needed facts.

INACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF MAP AND GUIDE SERIES
I am keeping this map and guide series because something is better than nothing. This item is completely in French, although the description states that it is in English. There is not ONE word of English in this map and guide series of Paris. Amazon's description needs to be corrected as soon as possible in order not to confuse potential buyers.
