Q: Is there a way to remove them after being on for a week or so? It’s a wonderful product, don’t get me wrong but I personally don’t like having tabs.

I don’t think they could be removed. However, it would probably depend on thickness and durability of paper they are attached to.

Q: My tabs smell very strongly like mildew almost. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried wiping them off and airing them out but the smell remains.

No my tabs did not have a smell.

Q: Do the tabs make the edge of the bible thinker than the spine?

No, I did not experience that. I followed the tab suggestions and it did not cause that issue. The only way I can see that happening is if you stack them all in the same exact order on top of each other.
