Carnivore Crisps, Grass Fed and Finished Beef Liver Crisps, High Protein, Ket...

Liver is definitely an acquired taste, but it's known as an amazing natural multivitamin. This is great to have when crumbled onto a salad. The dressing and cheese would hide the taste if it's too strong for you. The only downside is the price because one can get frozen liver for much less, but of course you'd have to cook that and eat it right away and couldn't put it in your backpack and take it along with you like you could this product.

My wife bought me this as an early Father's Day gift... She has heard me mention before that as a kid, my parents would sometimes serve up a dish of Beef Liver and Onions in a rich gravy, and that I really liked it... So, I guess her heart was in the right place... Unfortunately, after eagerly anticipating the arrival of this "gift", the first piece that entered my mouth, hit my tongue and was then rapidly ejected like a bouncer would eject a drunk from a bar... The taste was ungodly... "Nasty" simply doesn't serve the purpose well enough... the taste is more like dried blood and canned dog food (don't ask... I DO know what that tastes like)... I am sure this is a perfectly good product, and that there are some mentally derang... err... I mean customers out there who would thoroughly enjoy this product... I am not one of them. Please understand that I am not trying to disrespect the producers of this product in any way... I am just giving fair warning to anyone who has eaten liver and onions in gravy and enjoyed it, that they will be dismayed, disappointed and quite possibly in for a bit of a shock when they try this. I'm sure it is every bit as good for you as the package states... but the flavor???? Perhaps if you're into abusing your tastebuds... who am I to judge... rest assured though, I will not purchase any other "liver" product from these guys... I will try their other jerky products because I am a carnivore, and I thoroughly enjoy most meat products... just not this one!

I think this is only my second review on anything ever, I am not receiving anything from the company for this review nor did they ask for me to leave a review, but I simply HAD to pop in to assure all you healthy meat-eaters out there that these ARE THE BEST dried liver crisps I have ever found on the market, across any company, not just Amazon sellers... I'm not sure what the handful of negative reviews are trying to say - all I can think is they haven't tried comparisons... It is exciting we have a viable option (however pricey - it is an investment of sorts) besides home-cooked liver, which for many of us is not an option because it won't get past the gag reflex! These are a joy, especially knowing HOW GOOD they are for our health. I consider it as better than a vitamin supplement - it is real food and yet contains a whole array of vitamins and minerals even the standard carnivore diet won't supply. I've been a beef/ruminant meat only eater for over a year, general carnivore for two+ years, and I'll keep buying these as long as they make them!!!

Not very good tasting. I don't enjoy these flavors or taste on this product. I've tried other brands and enjoy them but this just wasn't for me, especially the liver. You might enjoy them but they weren't good to my pallete and I wasn't a fan. They definitely a better deal then brand like Grazly etc not tasty in my opinion.

The good: Flavor’s not bad. I like liver, and these taste pretty decent. However. They take the definition of “crisps” to the extreme. These are like chewing on gravel. I was afraid of breaking a tooth. I suppose you could suck on them for a bit to soften them up, but you’d better really like the taste of liver. I was expecting something like a crunchier beef jerky. These are definitely not that.

Great snack for those who enjoy the pure taste of liver. I am a big fan of this snack and I love the mini pack of chicken breast they send me too. If you do not enjoy organ meat in your daily diet you might not be used to the taste, so be prepared

I ordered 2 orders of these: 3 packages of brisket and 3 of liver. They sent 4 of liver and 2 of brisket. So that's my main complaint. Personally, I cannot get the liver down. Trying to get one bite down makes me gag. Now, I have a very sensitive gag reflex, and I know that, but I'm surprised I have such a strong reaction. They don't taste "that" bad, it's just a a physiological reaction I can't control. I've taken a lot of terrible tasting supplements for the sake of health without gagging. The brisket is good, and they sent a sample of ribeye which is very good. But they're awfully expensive for what you get, there's not much in each bag. I knew that before purchasing, but decided to try anyway. They are tasty snacks, and I appreciate that they are high quality, but they're just too expensive to buy regularly. I was looking for a healthy keto/ carnivore snack that I could use as a snack/ meal substitute when away from home. To take the edge off of hunger requires basically a whole bag - depending. Sometimes I can just have a couple of bites and be ok for hours, but sometimes not.

Been doing mostly carnivore with some keto foods mixed in every once in a while. Ordered these to try as a snack. I took one tiny bite and immediately triggered a throw up reaction. Thankfully I was standing by the sink. I have never experienced such an immediate and powerful reaction where I immediately just puked. Not sure if I had a bad bag or if it’s just way not for me but I’m not brave enough to try a single more bite. 30 bucks right in the trash. Giving 3 stars still just in case the issue is me or perhaps I really had a spoiled bag or something but catfish stink bait is more pleasant than this stuff.
