UV light for duct work.
Make sure you buy the one that turns the unit off. The unit you need is the one that has the airflow sensor in the duct work, this way the unit shuts off when the blower shuts off.... Less money spent on bulbs.... Install note. Make sure if you have insulation in your duct, it doesn't impede the air flow sensor (the little wire on the inside side of the mount), mounted on one of the holes or your unit may not turn on... Cut away this insulation so there is ample flow around the sensor. Unit works well. A bit of a smell the first few hours, but later cleared up and now smells great... ((dust burn off) in duct work)

Not even 30 days
My bulbs don’t even stay up for a whole month. I replaced them already five times in last six months just don’t understand why.

Price and longevity
Bulbs don’t last as long as I would hope! Does do a good job no more smell when switching from AC to heat! Or that burning dust smell

As reliable as usual
I have an Odorstop UV on my HVAC and the previous bulb fised after continuous 1+ year usage. I think they are rated for a 10K hours or about 410 days. I am going to check every few months anyway. However rather than buying some unknown brand with names that a kindergartner typed, it is good to use a name brand that is not very expensive and can be contacted if needed. I presume their source also tests the product before sending it. That need not be the case with a cheap product which is like a lottery at times.

The bulb lasts a few months
It does work for controlling odors. However, I know when bulb blows. I can start smell to smell my 3 dogs. The bulbs only last a few months. I bought the Asurian insurance. It replaced a bulb after 2 months but I couldn’t insure the replacement. It lasted 4 months

fantastic product
purchased and installed in early march to assist with eliminating viruses/bacteria etc... Also purchased extra UVC bulb for this unit (have yet to need it). Have been running this unit 24/7. Easier installation than expected, however, you should have some mechanical ability or get assistance. Recommend having speed tape when you cut into the air handler that may have insulation on the backside. Also make multiple copies of the Template prior to starting because the HOLE SAW will rip the template apart. There is a YouTube video on this but you may have to modify per your air handler. After all said and done and you start your unit you may smell a mild to moderate scent of Ozone3 which will quickly dissipate. We had no issues thus far.
