I can do better
You got to kidding!!!! Don't waste your money. Get a real authentic Asian cook book and make some American changes to it. Also PF Changs has compromised the quality of many of their foods and decreased the size of the shrimp to very small. Dynamite portion has been cut by 1/3 the amount. Prices rising as the wealthy stay wealthy. Invest in a rice cooker and visit an Asian store. You'll be surprised by want you can create. PF Change also uses a lot of oil. Soy, ginger, garlic, and oil is very tasty. Save the outer skins from your citrus fruit and scrape away the white. Then let them dry out. Start the day before and marinade in various products from your imagination, like buttermilk, plain yogurt, soy, garlic, onion pwd, ginger, fruit, sugar, Brown sugar, or honey, vinegar, etc. Vinegar in the marinade will pull the flavours into the meat.

Close, but not the same...
Ok, so I bought this book specifically to try the lettuce wraps recipe. It’s close, but it’s not without errors. The main thing for me is technique...rarely do cookbooks really delve into the proper way to cook foods and the specific in-depth techniques needed to do so.This book is no different, it lists the ingredients and gives you a few blurbs on what to do to get it there. That all being said, the food came out about 80% close edible, and good...just lacking that tasty last mile. The stir fry sauce didn’t thicken up like at the restaurant, they called for onion but don’t specify what kind and the dipping sauce is off a bit...it calls for ketchup, not quite sure that’s used in PF Chang’s recipe or not.

New, Cookbooks for treats and everyday foods for everyone's collection.
I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my Dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it good to be a girl but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions. New, Cookbooks for treats and everyday foods for everyone's collection.

Recipe Medley
I was already a little familiar with the PF Chang’s name because my husband and I would sometimes eat at P.F. Changes when we were living in Florida. Additionally, my husband and I use to live in Norfolk Virginia around part of the 2008 and part of the 2009 timeframe and we use to sometimes eat some of the foods from a P.F. Chang’s restaurant in Virginia Beach Virginia around the 2008 andor 2009 timeframe. Naturally, it was an easy decision for me to purchase this kindlebook. Some of the following recipes included in the kindlebook that is The Unauthorized Copycat Cookbook: Recreating Asian-Inspired Dishes Served At PF Chang’s Restaurant by JR Stevens includes: BBQ Spare Ribs, garlic noodles, orange peel chicken, crispy honey chicken, crispy honey shrimp, miso glazed salmon and more.

Yum! Love it!
A friend and I went to PF Changs and had their lettuce wraps. I had never had one before and just couldn't get enough, they were so good! I was trying to figure out what all the ingredients were so I could go home and make them. Suddenly I remembered I had purchased this book and opened it up on my Kindle and there was the recipe for the lettuce wraps! A few days later I used the recipe and made them - oh my! So good and certainly as good as what I had at PF Changs.

Honestly not the greatest recipes. I purchased it mainly to figure out how to cook the vegetables and lime garlic sauce for the wok fired filet mignon. Unfortunately, there is no mention of these components at all in the recipe, it basically tells you how to cook a steak (which most should know how to do). I was also wanting to make the sauce for the Great Wall of Chocolate cake, but there is no mention of it at all. These small components are what drive the flavor profiles of PF Chang's, and to leave them out makes this book worthless.

Copycat Cookbook
These recipes are well written and easy to follow with the exception of the Chocolate Dome recipe. That recipe seems to be incomplete as to how to assemble the dish for service. Otherwise, this is a great set of recipes.

Very disappointing ...
Might be a bit premature, I only just bought it today, and have not tried any of the recipes yet, but I was looking for a recipe for one or two dishes from PF Chang - Spicy Chicken and Mongonlian Beef. The Mongolian beef I managed to get somewhere else free previously, and worked out quite well, but I could never find something for Spicy Chicken, that didn't involve buying some special sauce. Sure enough, I boubght this on the idea that it would give basic ingredients for some of the dishes, the flavours might not be exact, but a close approximation was good enough.Unfortunately, when turning to the recipe for this, the list of ingredients looked good enough, but soon my hopes were dashed when looking at the directions, when the step by step instructions listed "Add house white sauce" and ... "Add Chang Sauce" in the steps of the dish, that were not even listed in the ingredients, and there is not even a separate recipe in the book for either, as you would get in most other cookbooks.Very disappointing ...
