Cool Hand Wood Grips for Jericho 941 F/FB, Magnum Research's Desert Eagle, Checker Diamond Cut

These grips are awesome! They look great and they are much more comfortable than the factory grips. Super easy to install and they are a perfect fit for a 941.

These are good grips, but not amazing. The color is great (see the picture, if they allowed it) and the checkering grips better than any polymer stipling I've ever felt. However, it's not hard wood, so you can scratch it rather easily and there is a bit of shift when you tighten your grip.For the price, these are a great option.

One of the grip (left side) does not set flat to the metal surface. It has a gap big enough to cause squeaking sound when you grip it. You can also hear it and feel a vibration upon firing the pistol. Tightening it more or loosening it a bit does not seem to work. Other than that, I like the wooden style and color and with enough aggressiveness to it.

These wooden grips are well made and finished. The pair that I received are similar in color to the ones in the ad photos, a nice dark brown. They fit my 1990's era IMI Jericho 941 FS perfectly without any additional carving or sanding, which is often not the case with aftermarket grips. In addition, they feel slightly thinner than the factory black plastic grips, which is an improvement. A good value and highly recommended.

The left panel was gapped upward by about 1/16 inch. Maybe the wood warped a bit but one thing to keep in mind is this handgun model utilizes one grip panel screw vs two - so there's no 2nd screw to pull on that gap and close it. It's probably warpage. Working the wood down to close that gap is a pain so I'm pretty sure I'll return them. These look good but aren't very dense and in my experience less dense woods move around (warp) easily and I think this may be the issue. Secondarily, these could use a sealer coat to keep oils out. As is, these would suck human and gun oil up and they'd get tacky in an unacceptable way. I'd have loved to keep them but that gap... They'd have broken in useage. Buying these was purely cosmetic by the way. The original plastic grips work fine... Vanity. 3 stars cause of the gap, 5 stars if not for that.

The wood is high quality hardwood, but the machining is questionable. I ordered one but one side does not fit well, leaving a huge gap, had to replace; the second pair also had fitting issue, one side panel is warped. Lost confidence and giving up, returning both to get money back

They seem very aggressive compared to the original, however I had tried some dimple grips which make these seem much better. Fit my Jericho 941 perfectly.

Nice checkering, comfotable, perfect fit.They are darker than i expected but no fault there. I'm still very happy with the grips.
