Bike Video Mount for Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus

I don't understand how the 5 star review claims this clamp works properly. There is no mechanism that puts a downward force on the phone. It appears from the picture that there is, but this is how it works: The top clamp is on a slider which you push downward onto the phone. Then you turn a screw which supplies a perpendicular frictional force on this slider that is to prevent the top clamp from going up, which of course would be disasterous for your phone. Of equal disaster is there are no side clamps and it was trivial to slide my phone out when "clamped". I can't imagine this thing could hold a piece of cardboard through an hour bike ride. Buyer beware.

Not a universal fit. Very difficult to use or mount.. wouldn't recomend..

I was expecting something cheap like everything else on the market but man let me tell you the build quality and rubber pads on this is amazing I put it on a fixie bike a s I ride through new York city no problem I put it on my box bike do some 180's no problem it holds my phone like a clingy girlfriend.
