These were extremely easy to install on my Passat, and work very well. My previous set - a “name brand” from a certain discount warehouse store - were awful and extremely confusing to install - and looked terrible because to fit my car it used a big unsightly adapter contraption that was included . These don’t require an adapter and installation took literally seconds.

The first point I want to make is that these are probably not OEM. I don't know what companies VW buys their wipers from (years ago it was Bosch and that is the brand I prefer). I have purchased non-OEM wipers before. They streaked after a few months and were very noisy, so I was reluctant to buy these. So far, I have been surprised. I put them on my 2016 Jetta, my everyday driver. They do fit flawlessly and are simple to change out. These wipers work surprisingly well. They clean without streaks and are quiet. I cannot attest to longevity, but all is good so far.
