For lovers of art and beauty
While looking forward to his new book, due out soon, I am looking once again at this earlier book, which just makes me more eager. This 1997 book more or less covers his American period, when he was living and working in New York. Of the 12 projects featured, eight are in New York, including his own home and working space and the rooms he designed for the Kips Bay showhouse, others in California, Colorado, Florida and Argentina. Molyneux is a classically-inspired designer of the most refined sensibilities, not at all minimalist, but highly selective. He knows exactly how much is enough, and also the extent to which a room's contents complement each other when everything is beautiful and nothing is extraneous. The new book, apparently, is devoted to his own residences (for some reason designers always do their best work for themselves!), his New York and Paris townhouses and his chateau in the French countryside.

Great design and interior decoration.
Mr. Molyneux did not disappoint me with his interior decoration - he is one of my favorite interior designers.

Molyneux
Molyneux is a great designer, but this book does not display his best work, such as: his hotel particulier in Paris (Claude Passart) or his apartment at Chateau du Marais. The quality of the photography is great, but the content is not as good.
