I have taken various supplements daily, over my +25 yr. athletic career. I'm VERY in-tune to how something (supplements/drugs) affects me, usually within 30 min., and/or within an hour or so. Many folks (and fellow athletes) don't "notice" a difference for quite a while. I feel lucky in that aspect.All that to say, I will need to throw out this batch of Royal Jelly. I have taken it for 3 - 4 days, following the dosage they recommend. No affect at all for me. Normally, when I've taken Royal Jelly over the years (using the same level dosage), I get a NICE boost in energy, that is smooth (not jittery, like some supplements), and it lasts for 3 - 6 hours. I also feel more mentally alert. With this supplement, I was even able to literally fall asleep (short nap) in my recliner, within an hour of taking this Royal Jelly. There is NO WAY I could ever do that, normally, after taking others' Royal Jelly. And for those who might want to suggest that I take it for a week or two longer, as "it might take a while for you to notice any affects", don't bother. It might take some folks a while, but like I said above, I'm not one of those folks.I noticed that the Royal Jelly portion seems solidified within the capsules, just like a few other reviewers noted, leaving one end of the capsule looking empty. That normally isn't the case, when I've bought Royal Jelly before. I'm not sure WHEN this batch was made, but it does have a fairly long shelf-life (expires 9/2021).This was my first purchase of this brand of Royal Jelly. Maybe I just got a bad batch? I don't know. But I do KNOW that I feel like I just wasted + $10 on a bottle, that will get tossed out. I'm afraid I would not be able to recommend this brand or this supplement, unless something changed my opinion.edit : Vendor reached out to me, to try and make it right. That tells me they CARE about their customers. Based on that, I would say they are a company to do business with. There are plenty of companies that wouldn't spend time and money to try and fix things. They did. Changed my rating up to 4 stars.

After trying out the NOW Supplements Royal Jelly 1000mg with 10-HDA, I have to say I'm impressed. The softgels were easy to take, and I noticed a positive impact on my overall well-being. I often choose NOW as a trusted brand, but the last several bottles of these have had softgels leak or melt or something so all of them are all greasy & sticky and damage my other meds in my pill organizer. Once I can overlook, but several times no! Maybe they are not being stored properly!

I've had intermittent pain in my groin & lower abdomen for the past few years. About 9 months ago, it became more consistent. Numerous doctors still trying to figure out what's going on and what treatment plan of action to take. I was losing sleep from the pain and it looked like it may not be a slight hernia as I had suspected. Out of desperation, I tried these. Within an hour or two of taking one, I felt the pain begin to subside. Knowing that the pain fluctuates, I did not jump to any miracle conclusions. I waited to see how things went over the next few days. Well, weeks have past and that pain is and has been almost negligible. I can still tell that there is something going on down there and after even more imaging, I think they have found something but haven't gotten the official results in yet. Hoping for the best because this product has help me live a more comfortable life for these past few weeks. Of course, everyone is different, but this is the result that I have experienced. In fact, last night, the pain was back again pretty bad and this didn't help, but less pain today.
