I have been avoiding the air fryer hype as I'm not one for following trends, but a kitchen re-fit and a temporary relocation to the garage forced the purchase of something small I could use for cooking. Spotted this on special offer and after a bit of research thought this sounded perfect. And it is! I basically wanted a front loading mini oven, definitely not a top loading appliance with baskets which limits the variety of foods you can cook. This little convection oven is perfect, so good that despite my brand new fitted kitchen I still use this far more than my big integral oven.The title "air fryer" is a bit daft and inaccurate, these appliances are all convection heaters which cook and crisp using circulated hot air, so basically they are just small electric ovens which cook fast because of their small internal space. I have found my mini oven to be very efficient and indeed considerably faster than a large conventional oven. It takes a bit of time to learn how to use it as things can get incinerated pretty fast, generally you need a lower heat and less cooking time, but once mastered you can cook anything in it. I regularly use it for pizza, ready meals, garlic bread, pasta bake, chips, scones, biscuits and even a cake. There are 3 shelves which with careful arrangement can accommodate several different things cooking at once, and can be moved around during cooking for even cooking. It's tight but more than adequate for the cooking needs of 2 people. No preheating necessary as heat is instant. The oven turns off when the door is opened, the control knobs are simple and easy to understand, the build quality is excellent, it's very easy to keep clean, and actually quite a good looking appliance (the grey particularly handsome). I was so impressed I bought my elderly mother one and she loves it too.

Very easy to operate just turn the dials ,we had one identical to this which lasted over 5 years , [exact same model] this arrive one day after ordering from amazon [excellent fast delivery] this is quite large so please be aware & check measurements , the cord on this is a reasonable length [other airfryer have leads which are a lot shorter [lead is on the right as you are looking at it ] and on the back -hand to know this in relation to where it gets plugged in .and everything else as stated on the product page .a great airfryer & excellent value for your money .
