Since I sold my house last year and am renting, I didn't want to invest in the under counter sink RO systems. Berkley is a great solution and doesn't waste water like the RO systems do. I love that I could bring this along for camping. I think I will buy the travel size for other trips. Hard to drink water at friends' houses that smells of chlorine, etc. Next time will bring a travel version.Be forewarned, there is quite the process putting it together. Took two of us quite some time--lots of intricate parts. I bought a black stand for it--which is great and doesn't take up counter space.Went with a bigger size than I thought I would--but I use it for everything: drinking water, ice cubes, pasta/cooking water, dog bowls. Love this filter system!! Three of my friends have them too--all around a great product.

I recently moved to the Philipines where 99% of people have to purchase their daily water from a service and have it restocked every week or so, or have to go and get their water themselves. Getting This filter (although pricey to acquire in the Philippines) Has already paid for itself. Simply from not having to set up transportation or schedule a refill of water. If water starts to get low then we simply just refill from the tap. The water is clean and fresh tasting! I will be getting more for other locations. Also, the 4 stainless steel cups are a very nice addition. Especially in the Philippines.

the inside of the top container had large areas where the finish was rubbed off. also on the bottom of the top piece. I'm out sure what this may leach I to the water, but seems like a very thin finish. makes me question quality altogether. returning product
