Connectyle Foldable Mesh Sports Cap with Reflective Stripe Breathable Sun Runner Cap

I got this for my husband’s bald head. We were going on vacation and he needed some sun protection and didn’t want to ruin a hat while traveling (since everything gets squished on trips). This was perfect; he could fold it up and put it in his pocket. He got white to stay cool and we were concerned about it coming clean but he hand-washed it and it came out perfect.

The hat is made of high quality super light material - great for hot summer days. I have a relatively small head (22" circumference) and the hat fits well. I was worried that the folds on the visor would stay bent all the time, but this is not an issue - once you put the hat on your hat, the folds disappear and the visor is flat as with a traditional, non-folding hat. One of the pictures in the hat description was showing a white strip with loops on the outside of the hat. Don't worry - the picture is wrong. There are no ornaments on the outside of the hat. The design is very plain and clean. Happy with the buy. :)

Given that I am a smaller person at 5'2" the cap just makes my ears stick out, and the brain portion of my head look tiny. Maybe it's the stripes/darts on the top? Definitely 100% nylon, and machine washable (in a delicates bag), air dry. Works for keeping sun out of eyes, but not off neck (if gardening, I go for a big all around brimmed hat), this one is good for driving. Not my favorite but functional.

Not sure what the folding part is for, it makes the hat fit oddly. The hat is a decent disposable hat. I will not buy expensive hats to wear while running as they begin to smell after a few months, so this one for $12.99 looked like a good deal. It does what a hat is supposed to do. However, it is not durable. It is showing wear after just a couple washings. After a run, I will set the hat out to dry and will wash them weekly. This hat is NOT washing machine sturdy! It has a been washed 2-3 times and it is starting to come apart, mainly around the folding parts on the bill of the hat. If you are a light sweating person, this hat may be ok for you, but I would not recommend it if you will need to wash it often.

This cap is light and comfortable, and I appreciate that the reflective edge goes around the whole hat, to help increase my visibility (and safety) during late-night runs. I added a rechargeable clip-headlamp on the bill to use for times when I want to really sure I am seen. Also, it takes a lot of sweat before it gets smelly and then launders easily.

How does one review a hat? It covers my head and helps to keep the sun out of my eyes in most situations. When I remove it from my head the nice design of the bill allows it to fold neatly. So basically it does a good job when worn and is easy to stow when not worn. So five stars overall.

I like that they are super comfortable, I could wear it all day and it doesn't feel like it will hurt your head at any point where it makes contact. I like the double fold design so I can fold it more compact in my bag. Overall I would recommend this cap. Also the stitching around the edge of the cap is well done, there isn't any bunching visible and the fabric sits nice and even/smooth where it is stitched.

Me gustó el diseño, la tela es ligera y me gusta que sea plegable. A mí gustó le falta un poco de vida al color naranja ya que es un poco opaco, fuera de eso, bien.
