Great Euro with direct interaction
A nice light, short-medium length European-style game with direct interaction, which is a rarity. Each turn you get to expand your hospital and cure patients, while more patients come in. However, if you have a surplus of patients, or get a particularly nasty grey one, you can just toss it into your opponents hospitals instead. Best new mechanic is the bidding; instead of special rooms like a triage center having a fixed cost, you get to decide how much it costs, but the other players might buy it before you get the chance. The components are excellent quality, solid wood pieces and the cloth bag the patients come in is delightfully fuzzy. Overall it's a solid game, with a good theme and some clever mechanics to differentiate it from some drier Euros, definitely worth the buy.

enjoyable
I really enjoyed this game. I have only played it once & I think now that we have gotten past the set-up, it will be even more enjoyable. It takes one game to really understand the strategies involved. There is also an expansion pack out there (though not on Amazon)that I have already ordered. Give it a try.

The vision for this game was excellent, and the component art and quality is great
The vision for this game was excellent, and the component art and quality is great. Where this game falls short is mechanics. Had they fully play tested the rules, it may have been 5 stars! I do believe a few well conceived "house rules" can a make this game very enjoyable. On the plus side, it was still fun, though no where near where it could and should have been. Next time Mercury games! I have confidence!

Good theme, confusing play
This game should be called FAQuarantine because at first glance the rules seem simple, but are in reality much more difficult to grasp. Expect to continuously refer back to the rule book or online FAQs to resolve differences in opinions in the game rules the first few times you play. The theme is good though, and will get a few laughs. Ultimately the strategy is pretty thin and experienced board game players will find that luck plays a huge factor in this game.

Gameplay ultimately didn't make sense
To really win a game at this you need to optimize for the game. The build a hospital theme does not align with how you win the game. Wife did not like that there were multiple beds featured on tiles, but you could only place one patient. This is a hospital game with no doctors and no nurses. The building tiles can be rearranged with magic.Solid 2 stars for beautiful graphics. Not much else.
