These are fine for practicing the mechanics of loading and unloading my Kel Tec KSG. The issue is that they don't cycle consistently.I primarily bought these so that I could practice dry-firing, cycling, and switching magazine tubes.The fact that they don't cycle consistently obviously defeats the purpose.To be clear, it is not the shotgun that is the problem. Live ammunition cycles perfectly; I've literally never had a malfunction.The problem is that the rim of these dummy rounds is marginally thicker than the rim of the live rounds. This causes the extractor to occasionally not engage properly and you get a failure to eject.Not the best picture, but maybe you can see the difference in the thickness of the rims.

Just the right weight. Practicing loading is important. I have a couple light weight inert shells that always fail to eject. Now I also practice correcting failures.

These work great. I was looking for a way to train without using up ammo. The feel and the weight is just like live ammo. Very pleased. My only concern is to be sure I clean them off before loading them again. Sounds silly but I am used to loading from a clean box or pocket.

If you have a KSG, or plan to get one, you need dummy rounds. Out of the box, the KSG is pretty straightforward. But if you plan on using it for defence and running any drills with it you need to practice. So why not get these? Hi-Tech Custom is a great one-stop shop for all your KSG needs.

I do Cowboy action shooting which includes speed loads of my Winchester 1897 pump shotgun. These snap shells weight and handle just like loaded rounds so allows me to practice without having to be at the range using real ammo. Very pleased.

These work as expected, although they area bit heavier than I expected. A little pricey, but very well made.
