Solid Brass KP Tactical .38 Spl. Snap Caps
These are very high quality snap caps. I've never seen any that were actually milled from solid brass until I bought these. I bought these for my little .38 Spl. snubbie to work on DA trigger control. These caps are very similar in weight to an actual .38 Spl cartridge with a top of the range weight projectile. I measured them with my calipers and every dimension is right on the specified dimensions listed in my reloading manuals, to the .001".The silicone plug in the primer pocket is pretty tough, which is what I wanted. I put these in my snubbie and ran through about 80 - 100 DA dry-fires. When I got finished I removed the snap caps from the cylinder and each silicone plug had a pretty good dent in it. I put them on my reloading bench and looked at them about an hour later and the impression had disappeared, except for a little mark from a little lube on the firing pin.I have no doubt these will last well beyond the life of the gun. You could spend more for some cheapo plastic caps that might last you 500 dry-fires, or you could spend less, get these and have them forever. They look pretty cool sitting on the shelf, too!

Holy Cow! Outstanding Snap Caps!
Stumbled upon these while looking for .38/.357 snap caps on Amazon. Price was almost too good to be true, but worth the gamble. All I can say is WOW! Outstanding quality and value. These caps are CNC milled out of sold brass with silicone plugs in the primer pockets. They weigh approximately the same as a live round. These caps are heads and shoulders above the plastic ones you pay upwards of $18 for.
