KP Tactical 45 ACP Aluminum Snap Caps (6 Pack)

These are quite effective at their job. They're aluminum so they get a little bit of weight, though not as much as a real round would, but that's fine. They're great for being absolutely, positively sure you're not hurting your firing pin while you dry fire. Great for working in the action and getting used to a new gun's trigger pull. I'd say go for them! The only complaint I have is that the rubber on them is a little too easily-deformed. After my first shot with one, it got a divot in it that stayed. Not sure that's too bad, but it certainly doesn't keep its shape perfectly.

These function as expected and customer service from KP Tactical is excellent. Not polished smooth like some snap caps, but didn't affect function for me. Not as heavy as an actual round. Not a downside for me.Added bonus (nothing to do with the snap caps, of course), my Shield will reset with the slide forward of the point where a round is ejected, so the pistol can be reset without rechambering.

Excellent snap caps for function checking, and dry fire. Good price. Less than what other brands cost. Arrived on time and in good condition.
