Real coot!
I ordered this dresser and another in different style and they both are very sturdy and we’re easy to assemble but this one had a more expensive look for less the instructions are not so easy to understand if you are not the average Mrs. fix it the only issue I had is you have to make sure to use the right pieces that you twist the screws into in the right places the bigger ones go into the frame and the smaller ones go on the draws but this dresser is very stylish for the money and seems like we will have it for a long time good buy

Save your money and your time. Avoid this piece!
First off, I know it's cheap furniture so I wasn't expecting fine craftsmanship but there was a lot wrong with this dresser. The box arrived and didn't appear to be damaged but while unpacking it I noticed one piece that was broken in half. I'm kinda handy and it was a hidden piece so I was able to repair it enough to work. One of the drawer fronts had chipped laminate. Another had a piece of the laminate folded over on itself, creased and glued in place leaving a bare corner. One of the drawer backs was built backwards. Either you could align the back properly or have the groove for the drawer bottom in the right place, not both. I choose to cut a new groove with my table saw so I could get it together. Most aggravating though is the laminate on the top has a crack running the entire width of it. The board is glued to isn't broken, just the laminate. While it was very time consuming to put together (about 4 hours) it wasn't difficult and I highly recommend using the "BILT" app to aid in assembly. I had another 45 mins or so in fixing the broken and improperly built parts.Mostly though, if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. If I thought I had any chance of packing it all into the box it came in I'd send it back.

A quality DIY dresser, with quick and helpful service!
I just finished putting the dresser together, and I am in love.Everything goes together really easily, with everything predrilled and sectioned out. The instructions are easy to follow, and it's made to be put together without power tools! It probably took me a couple hours to put together, but if you have a buddy help you out it could easily be done in an hour.Be aware, the dresser is pretty heavy, but that results in a quality piece of furniture. Unfortunately the weight of the parts meant that when delivered, a couple pieces were broken. But within a week the company had quickly shipped out replacements for me without hassle.Definitely a great company putting together a great product! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great dresser that they'd prefer to assemble themselves.

Take the time to identify parts before assembling!
I'm a 54 year old woman who put this together by myself...so it can be done. It took me 6 hours which seems fairly reasonable considering some of the other reviews. I started by identifying and counting all the parts. Some are marked. Some are not. I used a sharpie to write the part numbers on the bags of hardware so I could easily grab them as I needed them. I strongly suggest doing this to save frustration during the assembly process. Heads up, there is one plastic bag portioned into 6 packets. This is the stuff to put the drawers together. It's not marked, but you can set it aside until you're ready to put the drawers together. Your time will decrease significantly if you have a second person who can be tasked with just drawer assembly. This is very much an ikea type assembly, so if you've ever put any of their stuff together you should be fine. There are no written instructions, but the illustrations are mostly clear to follow. Only half of the drawer fronts are marked, but it's important to ensure that you use the same ones on one side, or they don't line up as well for some reason. A couple of the little dowels they included were too big for the pre drilled holes. Don't try to force them in, the particle board will actually chip away. They include enough extra that you'll have plenty to fit. Once it's together, it's heavier than I thought it would be and looks pretty decent. I think it's a good value for the price.

Get what you pay for.
I've purchased a few dressers like this over the years and they are all consistent in build quality. Its cheap particle board and you don't plan on moving this more than once or twice without it falling apart. That said, it serves a purpose and I wasn't interested in paying 500 for a nice dresser at this point in time.If you understand what you are getting, its a four star review. I put my review at 3 stars simply because of the poor packaging and broken parts inside and broken parts are also consistent from my personal experiences. Given that it ships UPS/FEDEX, you'd think they would protect the cheap "wood" better. They do make it easy to replace the parts but my dresser I waited 5 days for cant be completely assembled for another 5-7 days. Should have just went to a local store so I can return it easier.

Surprisingly good!! Start to finish review
After reading all these negative reviews I was hesitant to buy this. But I did. And I gotta say for 170 bucks it isn’t bad!It was delivered, and let me tell you, it is very heavy. I moved it, but it was difficult so 2 people are needed. On the non painted ends or sides, the pieces are labeled so I suggest taking the extra time to separate them. I put it together in 2 hours. If you’ve put ikea furniture together, you’ll do fine. The drawers were my one weakness. It’s kind of a pain to put the bottoms in. AND, there are 2 sides, R1 and R. Make sure you keep them separate. It’s also gonna be trial and error with putting them in. But once you figure the proper placement mark it on the inside so you remember.Overall great product for the price! 1 minor scratch from shipping but it’s particle board, it’s expected. I didn’t anchor to the wall, on account of no kids. It holds my tv no problem.
