This has been an incredible help to my son. He says it’s very calming and he loves the sleek look and quality. It helps with his fidgeting without disturbing or distracting other students. It has a nice weight to it, too. I will be buying more because it’s a great value for the money.

very nice pen, spins smoothly and writes well

This pen is great for my endless fidgeting. The spinner on it is so smooth, it has almost no friction, and it's so satisfying to sit and endlessly spin. I use it all the time at work when I'm talking to people, I just sit and spin the top and it helps me focus. I've had several coworkers, including a supervisor, ask me about it. I always hand it over to them and it's always instant memorization with a request for the link so they can buy one. The offset click to activate the pen itself can also be used as a fidget device as well as being a really cool way to keep the pen from not opening or closing when you don't want it to. I love being able to have my fidget toy be my pen without being noisy and obnoxious like the normal clicking and unclicking when using a standard pen, it's subtle, easy to keep in my pocket, and I don't have to carry another fidget toy around. The spinning does make noise, but it's much quieter and less annoying than a constant "click CLICK, click CLICK". The pen housing itself is super solid. The entire thing is metal. This pen is heavy compared to other pens. It makes it very satisfying to hold and it feels like it will take a beating. My only two complaints about this pen are the ink and the lack of a clip to hook it to something. I usually clip my pens to a notebook, the inside of my pocket, or my shirt, and this pen has no clip to do that, so I'm afraid that eventually I'm going to lose it. The ink that came included with the pen worked great the first few times I used it and then froze up and stopped working but the fact that it can easily be swapped out for refills made it not a big deal. I got a pack of G2 refills, which is my favorite ink anyway, and swapped that into it, and now it's like combining my two favorite pens and getting the best of both worlds. One star taken off for the lack of a clip and the need to swap ink, but even so, I'd highly recommend this pen. I even bought a second one to give as a gift to a friend who is always fidgeting.

The pen feels sturdy without being a metal club, thanks to its aircraft-grade aluminum body. Even the threads glide together neatly, which is a relief if you’ve ever wrestled with cheap, squeaky parts. The spiral design somehow zeros you in, especially if you’re the type who needs an extra dose of visual or tactile stimulation. Then there’s the bolt action: quiet enough that you won’t become the resident classroom annoyance, but don’t expect that small click to quell any raging fidget urges on its own. The real silent hero is the top spinner—a buttery-smooth twirl that won’t signal “fidget meltdown” to the entire room. Overall, it’s a slick writing tool that still has a few built-in fidget moves to keep the ADHD monster at bay—subtle enough for a study hall, but engaging enough to make you actually want to write more than two sentences at a stretch.

I do not loan this pen to others. It is my pen. I use it for everything. I love the swirly grooves. I love the spinny top. The writing part is quite nice as well but I’m going to have to buy refills soon. Been using it a lot. For someone who fidgets or stims, it’s fantastically sturdy and unobtrusive. I am extremely worried someone is going to walk off with it. MY PEN. MINE. Get your own.

Two years strong, this pen has lasted me. It is the midst incredible low profile fidget toy I have ever had!

The pen's fidget decision making spinner spins for a long time. The pen is heavy and has a knurled bottom half with an interesting clicker for the pen. For the price of $19, there are better options.
