Performs as Expected
This model replaced an earlier model that wore out with very heavy use. The keypad and latch are sleeker and easier to use than on the earlier model. The glass turntable fits neatly in the dishwasher. The size and power are fine for small jobs. We have a bigger old microwave to handle the large dinner plates and casseroles, and food items that require higher power. Something to watch: As with the former model, condensation builds on the bottom inside of the door and cabinet. This caused the paint to peel on the former model, and actually rust on the same model owned by a friend. It takes only a second to wipe it off and leave the door open for a few minutes while cleaning the counter. Hoping this solves the problem. Overall, a very good value for its intended use.

Compact yet High Quality. Awesome Seller, too!
This is a replacement for a Danny microwave that cooked so unevenly that you could have burned food right next to icy food. The Sharp has a little bit slower cooking time overall, but gives much more even results. Really small exterior, but you can fit a huge measuring cup with lid or a large plate inside. Very easy to clean. The dealer MavJam Avenue is very responsive and gives great customer service.

It's a great Solution to a size issue
We have a built in cupboard for our Microwave and it will only hold this small model. This isn't a microwave you would expect to last forever but it's the perfect size and does the job. And, it's economical when you don't/can't spend a lot of money. It's a great solution!

So far so good - really reduced dangerous RFs from my old microwave!
My old large Kenmore was 15 years old, and registered a high RF output on a Safe & Sound meter. I had to move away 18' to get it to drop from 10,000 to 1000 while it was running, still in the red zone, and a full 30' away before it dropped to amber 100 on the meter. I am hyper-electro-sensitive and being in the kitchen could trigger a seizure. So it was constant turn it on then leave in a big hurry til it turned off. It's taking twice as long to cook anything in this 700 Sharp, but it's worth it to have the RF down to 1000 standing within a few feet of it. That drops to 100 when I get 15' or so away from it. It's hard to remember to push "time cook" before the seconds or minutes I'm used to , so it keeps starting with the instant-on minutes as soon as I push a number, and I have to shut it off, then try again. The old one I punched the numbers first, then Start. It's just been a few days so I know I'll eventually get used to it :=) It's a monumental relief to know it's going to be so much safer to use.

Works
Surprisingly cheap for a microwave. But the price of my friends to gift it to a teacher. He loves it and apparently it works

Gone are the days of long-lived microwaves, but ....
Gone are the day of long-lived microwaves, but at least they're cheap.I've had Sharp microwaves, albeit larger, for over 25 years - one of which still is going strong! Just takes up a little too much space nowadays.Bought this exact same make and model 4 years ago and it's turned into a rust bucket from the inside (a first for me). The white interior has been peeling and the metal underneath has been turning to rust. But at $77, or about $20 a year, I'll deal with it.Not having a lot of space for a microwave, this one serves its purpose just fine - evenly heats, large enough for a large plate, simple and easily readable controls. Just need to watch out for that rust!

We love it!
Bought it for the compact size but love it for so much more! Works great and feels substantial, not flimsy. Very attractive and easy to clean

Small and powerful
As advertised, small foot print, simple user interface, good quality and plenty of power for all my needs. Great value. Although total shipping and handling was nearly $20, 1/3 the cost of the actual unit, which was annoying. But happy overall and worth it.
