This collar has been very effective with our 7 month old high energy Lab puppy to distract her from unwanted behavour. We appreciate the 3 levels of distraction beginning with the beep, then the vibrate and finally the puff of citronella. We are hopeful that ,with time we will reach the point that we will be able to walk her off-lead without fear of her chasing off after a porcupine, coyote, or some other potential danger. I would not count on the light to be able to see her at night as it is not very visible unless she is sitting facing toward you but never the less, it is nice to have as a bonus feature and helps to make her a little more visible to any vehicles when we walk at night.One thing that would be helpful would be a wrist-strap mount for the remote control to reduce fumbling for the control hanging from a lanyard.3 month update:After three months this collar has been working well. However recently the spray shutoff for the Citronella spray has begun leaking. We have left a message for the manufacturer to see if they have a solution for this problem. We have found the spray to be by far the most effective deterrent when Millie tries to ignore a recall.4 month update:My Pet Command responded to our message within 24 hours and offered to send a replacement under warranty requesting only that we pay shipping. We have just received the replacement and now have a fully functioning collar again. This is a supplier who stands behind their product! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

****Second Update****I would highly recommend this seller because they truly care about customer service. They called me after my first update to try to figure out my problem with the collar turning itself off. They called again to see if the suggested fix worked, and when I told them it was still shutting off, they immediately sent me a new collar which I am currently testing. I have raised the stars to five because of this stellar customer service.I am now impressed by two things. This collar is working and you can be confident that the seller will stand behind their product.First Update **** The fact that this collar turns on and off by holding your finger over a small window on the front means that when my puppy lays down and covers that window, the collar turns off. So when I need it to function, it may or may not be turned on.So that means I have to chase the dog down and turn it back on, which makes a vibration that scares her.****Not happy about that****so stars removed.****I was skeptical at first, but had tried different methods and nothing helped. I did NOT want to use a shock collar, but I was at my wits end. My puppy was out of control with barking and jumping up when anyone comes to my house, which thankfully isn’t too often. Out of the box, I had the opportunity to test it when the fedex guy came. Night and day difference.The next day my daughter and two of my grandkids came over. She started flipping out and one spray was all that was needed to stop the behavior immediately. Now she pays attention if I just pick up the remote. I believe eventually, I won’t even need it.

Really like this it makes my dog stop and think he hears the beep and comes running get the citronilla and he stops barking took about 2 minutes for him to learn what it does

Final Edit:The replaced unit has worked without issue and functions as expected.It would be nice if the remote could stay on longer and not sleep.- the remote will turn off after a few minutes of inactivity.- we have found that turning on the LED flashlight will keep the remote awake a lot longer, but will still have to wake it up on occasion. We've covered the flashlight with some blue tape to reduce the light from glaring into our faces, but can still see if it is lit.- if the remote is asleep and you try to use it, it will first need to wake up which takes a couple seconds and you may need to press your action button again; this can create a delay in your response which may decrease your pet's ability to understand the command in time.- the product does work well other than above and the collar battery lasts multiple weeks or longer depending on use. The remote tends to need recharging sooner as we keep it awake as long as we are out walking.Edit:The seller reached out and sent us a new collar very quickly. Great customer support!Raised from 1 star to 3 stars for the support, will raise again if the collar lasts 6 months.Original review:Product worked great, until it randomly stopped working(won't even turn on), giving odd LED status when attempting to charge, and as of this morning doesn't light up at all. The Remote is still in perfect working condition, but the collar is now a paperweight.

The media could not be loaded.  This collar worked great for the 2 weeks I used it. They it started leaking all the citronella spray out without pushing the button on the remote. The video I posted is showing it leaking out right after I added some to it and I didn't even turn on the collar and it leaks all of the spray out. I tried it several times an it's still leaking all the spray out right when I add it to the collar. I have issued a return and will try one more collar but if it happens again I will be forced to go to a shock collar that I don't want to use. Other spray collars have bad reviews too so if thus one breaks again I will have to go to a shock collar.
