This is a great shampoo and bottle size. Definitely works for my hair. I love the smell. And I love the value that you get for the bottle. I loved it so much. I even put it on a subscription so now I get the shampoo and conditioner every month on a subscription price definitely worth it.

This brand of hair care products is so good for kinky curly hair, which is mine and my son’s hair type. Cleans the hair well. Hydrates and moisturizes our hair really well. I highly recommend this brand especially this particular one with the leave in conditioner.

I've been through more shampoo than any of you combined, trust me. For my curly hair, this shampoo works great so far! Not drying like most I've used. No weird scent. It lathers nicely. Best of all, my hair looks so curly after using this and I didn't even use any conditioner, leave in or styling product after. Just straight shampoo to see what it would do and I'm actually kind of amazed. 2 thumbs up. If anything changes, I'll come update my review. Happy guy.

About 2 years ago, I began using the curly girl method on my hair and stopped using heat of any kind. Unfortunately, many of the natural shampoos and conditioners can be quite expensive, so I like to purchase this brand shampoo from time to time. Other reviews were stating this shampoo made their hair hard to comb, but using this with some kinky curly knot today conditioner made my 2c/3a curls soft and manageable. I lightly dry my hair and scrunch argan and jojoba oil into my hair for an easy wash and go style. This shampoo is great if you're on a budget or just to hold you over until you can buy a more expensive brand. It's not the best out there for sure, but it works. It smells pretty good and works better on my hair than devacurl, to be honest.

I used the smoothie before I tried the shampoo and conditioner and was very pleased with the results as I have very frizzy hair due to the Florida humidity and I am amazed. I had noticed my daughters hair and curls were looking fabulous and asked what she was using and she told me. I didn't try right away but I wish I had as I could have saved so much money. This stuff is really good.

I have very frizzy hair that tangles easily and have just started to use this product. Great lather and scent, interested in seeing how the hydration and anti-frizz works long term for my hair. My stylist recommended Maui shampoo and conditioners for me.

For context, I have 4A-4b hair (coily hair). Beginning with the good stuff, the shampoo smells really good, it has decent value, and it really does make your hair clean. With that said, that literally is it: it makes your hair clean. No moisture retention, no added softness, no breakage prevention. My hair did feel clean, but it was also left really dry. Maybe this is great for other hair textures or those with different porosity, but I wouldn't recommend with my hair, unless you'll be doing an extensive conditioning treatment.
