Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima, 3704 - Syrah

Just received the best customer service experience from this company. I ordered one skein of Cascade Ultra Pima Yarn which was so beautifully packaged, an experience not had in years.Because of a problem with rolling the skein of yarn, I called Wool and Company and got a customer representative. After explaining the problem, the representative assured me that it should not have happened, and said that they do offer a service of rolling the yarn for the customers. Everything about the experience is five stars, from the quality of the yarn to the quality of service from the employees. Will definitely order again, soon.

Received this yarn in a timely manner. I will be crocheting Knitted Knockers for women who have had mastectomies. The extra soft yarn does not rub on scar tissue. As a retired RN, I am glad to be able to help women with a softer, gentler, cotton material that will help them feel better about their looks. Better that plastic. June Broman

the yarn was perfect for my project of making "Knitted Knockers" for mastectomy patients, and was recommended by knittedknockers.com. These are comfortable alternative to gel or silacan filled prosthesis, which are heavy, hot, and uncomfortable. See the site if you would be interested in doing charitable knitting or chrochet.

I recently read an article about women in Arizona who are knitting what they call knittedknockers to donate to women who have undergone mastectemys but not reconstruction surgery and therefore wear bra inserts which are not very comfortable. I've obtained their pattern and knitted two skeins {one in coral and one in white} worth of b and c cup prostethses and given them to my local oncology clinic for patients who would like them. They have since given them all away and apparently have been found to be comfortable. Since the yarn is a very silky cotton they are very cool to wear and are machine washable. I intend to make more of them soon to donate. The pattern is fun and easy and they're quite quick to complete.

This yarn is some of the best yarn I’ve ever worked with. Angelika is easy to work with and got me 2 more skiens in same dye lot when I needed more yarn to finish my project. I want this yarn in every color. So soft and cushiony feeling after you work it up. It does split like a lot of other yarns do. I will repurchase from her again. As a matter of fact I already have. Do not hesitate to buy this yarn. Yo7 won’t regret it. My only con is the price but you usually get what you pay for when it come to buying yarn. Great customer service too.

Yarn is gorgeous and feels incredibly soft. Will use for afghan for baby whose mom is allergic to all versions of wool. The providing company, Hotyarn, handled a shortage of the yarn skeins ordered in surprising fashion! One skein less than number listed and requested caused company to feel the need to send the remaining yarn at no cost! What an amazing treatment of inability to fulfill order as placed. Very light weight and thin but strong. I use it when making tops. Not as soft as yarn used for blankets but great for clothing. I am going to buy more of this for a different project.
