I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this product because I'v had bad luck in the past with other expensive shampoos and people raving of how good the product is only to be disappointed. I've spend hundreds of $$$ on expensive shampoo packages that promise no hair loss after 3 months and that is way too much money with no results! I really thought that this was going to be the same thing, BUT I've been using Lipogaine for one week now and I am EXTREMELY impressed with it. I don't have clumps of hair going down the drain! The smell is very pleasant. I use it every other day, my hair seems to be fuller and with much more volume! My only disappointment is that it doesn't moisturize my hair like other shampoos, BUT I will continue using it because my hair isn't falling out in clumps anymore AND the price is totally affordable!!! I finally found a shampoo that promises to do what it says its suppose to!! I'm in love with shampooing my hair again!UPDATE DEC 9, 2019:I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO RAVE ABOUT THIS SHAMPOO!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I bought my first set of BIG 5 back in August after spending hundreds of $$$ on "kits" that promised your hair wouldn't fall out! I cried so much before I purchased BIG 5 product because I was at my wits end thinking that I was going to be bald by the end of Sept because that's how much my hair would fall out! Well I took one more chance and haven't looked back! I have since purchased this product 4 x's !!!! It really, really, really, works! Since using it I have cut my hair 2 or 3 times, bleached it, colored it, I blow dry it, use a hot curling iron on it......AND I'M NOT AFRAID OF IT FALLING OUT!!! I LOVE BIG 5 shampoo and conditioner that I will NEVER use another expensive "kit" anymore! THANK YOU MAKERS OF BIG 5, YOU SAVED MY HAIR AND FOR ME THAT IS WORTH IT'S WEIGHT IN GOLD!!

As a nearly 40 yr old man that was dealing with hair thinning for the past 13 yrs i must say this shampoo has been a miracle for me . I'm on my 4th month of using this product and it works great . Its easy to use . I use it in the showers daily . It's convenient for me since I don't have the time otherwise to use it . Before I started using it my hair was awfully thin and was only getting worse . I have a darker color hair and before using lipogaine my hair got so thin it was almost transparent . I tried everything nothing worked and felt like I was going to have to shave my head bald . I did a ton of research and it had plenty of great reviews . Like I said I've been using it 4 months and the results have been amazing . The hair is thicker , darker and more healthy . It's only getting better as time goes on . The bottle may look small but it actually last a good amount of time and I use it daily . I'm going to remain a happy loyal customer cuz it really works . I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of using it . I only wish I would have found this product sooner . Thank you lipogaine !

Big 5 shampoo has helped reduce hair loss during my annual shedding season. It tingles the scalp on application for a kindof 'wake up' effect. I scrub the scalp vigorously during application and leave the shampoo on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. It does sting the eyes a bit but easily rinsed. I find that using the product more often than not works best. So even though I only need to wash 2 times a week, I use this product every other day during shedding season. I use it year round regardless. Leaves hair feeling clean and shiny.

I've been using this shampoo for a little over 2 weeks...so not sure about its effectiveness. This review is just about the shampoo itself.PROS:•Doesn't seem to dry out my hair.•My hair does feel thicker after 2 weeks, but I'm sure I haven't magically grown 6 inches of hair.•The shedding seems to be declining.CONS:•Smells awful. That "mint" smell reminds me of dog shampoo. Not a good "mint". (Some reviewers do like.)•Really burns my eyes. Hard as I try to keep it out of my eyes, it seems to seep in somehow. Not a problem I usually have with shampoos.• Too expensive for the size you get. I thought it was expensive when I thought I was ordering a large bottle! My fault for not looking closely at the ounces. Be sure you are aware of the small size.All that being said, I will continue to use until the bottle is gone...and if it works I'll gladly pay.Will update this review once I've given it a good try.

So, for any of you wondering, this product absolutely works! I have thicker, fuller hair at my hairline and it completely solved my stress over thinning. Give it time, you won't see a result for at least 3 months; but six months down the line, I have a LOT of hair in places that were thinning last year.It has a nice, minty scent. It isn't very moisturizing on my hair, but I use the complimentary conditioner that takes care of that. I highly recommend you use both products at the same time.Follow the directions thoroughly; I actually bought a rubber scrubby to ensure that I could really work the product into my scalp. I don't use it all over my head, just on the hairline where my hair was thinning. I use regular shampoo for the rest of my head. The bottle is small, so I like to conserve it for areas it will have the most effect.Again, don't hesitate if you are considering this; it really does work, it's like a miracle product!
