The Protective Inflatable Recovery Cone Collar is a soft, lightweight alternative to traditional recovery collars for dogs and cats. Designed in a fun hamburger shape, it offers comfort and protection post-surgery while being easy to clean and store. The collar features a thoughtful fixing strap to ensure it stays in place, allowing pets to eat, drink, and play without obstruction.

Cute and Functional
I have used this on my foster dogs after surgery. It's easy to put on, just position over the dog's neck and then tighten the velcro strap. It can be inflated or deflated as needed to get the perfect fit. The velcro is strong and stays put. I like this better than the traditional plastic cones because it makes it easier for the dogs to get in and out of their crates, get food and water, and to lay down comfortably; and there are no more bruised calves/shins for me from the dogs bumping into me with the hard plastic cones.

Comfy, cute, and effective!
This was a perfect solution to replace the cone! You loop the collar though the straps on the inside of the soft collar, and put your dogs collar back on as you normally would. This ensures the donut can’t be pushed off their head, though our dog hasn’t even tried as she doesn’t seem to notice it!She cannot reach her spay incision but can still get to her back feet, so she’s quite happy to still be able to reach those. For a spay or neuter, it will definitely do the job!She is able to lay down comfortably (it has become kind of like her own personal pillow!) and the exterior strap can be loosened or tightened as needed.I can’t tell you how many complements she had received on her hamburger. It was definitely worth the purchase to replace the cone as she heals.

Much better than a typical cone!
Was a little difficult to inflate (it takes a good couple of minutes with the pump provided) BUT was a much better alternative to the typical cone we have for our dog. She was visibly happier once I put it on her because she could see all around her. She could eat, sleep, go up and down our stairs with no issues. It’s awesome. I am now trying to figure out how it will deflate now that we don’t need it anymore. I opened the pipe (duh) but I’m not sure it’ll deflate at all. I’d say that’s the only thing I don’t like about it, I don’t know how to get it to completely deflate so I can store it!

Nicer than the cone
Got this due to my dog having a wound on his back. Cyst broke open and he had blood all over his muzzle. This keeps him from continuing to mess with the wound the vet cleaned up. This will keep him from biting it until he has surgery. Looks better than the cone. He is a small dog. About eight pounds. Very easy to blow up and is flexible. It does have things to attach a leash if needed. Straps inside the collar itself. He seems very calm about wearing it. No trouble eating or drinking. I think he actually likes having a little pillow to carry with him. He’s 14 years old. Too cute for words.

Doesnt do it's basic function unfortunately
Starting off from positives this donut looks very nice I liked the material . It was easy to put on the dog it . Was a great fit . Easy to put on and take off . My dog probably could eat with it on I didn't see an issue with that and it . The negative my main issue with it was that it's made for the pet not to reach and lick the areas they shouldn't however my dog had no problem licking her spot and everything else she needed making this kind of useless if it doesn't do the basic function it's meant to do . I would not recommend this unfortunately.

Prevents Licking
This inflatable cone was wonderful!! Did exactly has described and Chewie enjoyed it better than his plastic cone. He was able to eat, drink and sleep comfortably. He tried licking his incision multiple times and this inflatable cone prevented it well. He enjoyed it as a pillow and snored per usual. No irritation around the neckline as he would have with a regular cone. Definitely could tell a huge difference with this versus plastic cone they give you at the vet. Very happy!

Don't buy this for your cat - pulled internal stitches trying to get it off.
In theory - I thought this would solve the issue with the cone shoveling cat litter everywhere... unfortunately this caused more problems than just cat litter messes. The collar alone was easy to slip off. But when you attach it to a pet collar it becomes a death trap. My cat managed to get the "burger" off but her pet collar was still attached and the burger was pulling the collar choking her -- she was doing flips trying to get away and get some relief -- thus pulling some internal stitches. We are dealing with an infection and possible second surgery now. would NOT recommend for cats. Maybe for dogs it is okay?

So much better than the cone!
My chihuahua had to have emergency surgery and was discharged with the traditional clinical cone. She really struggled and seemed so unhappy. A friend recommended getting her a soft neck ring. This fit exactly as sizing described. Had easy to understand directions. My little one immediately seems so much more comfortable and happy. She can eat and drink better, sleep better and can even play with her favorite toys. It will make her recovery so much better!

Worked perfectly and looked adorable
What can I say? I got this because the cone my little guy was given was a bit large and kept scooping litter when he would use his box. This kept him from licking his surgical site but he could still play, eat, drink, and sleep. I appreciate that it’s nice and bright, I could see him in the window when I would drive by and it was obvious if it was still on or not.Getting the pressure and tension on the velcro just right so that he couldn’t remove it was tricky but once I got it, it was perfect. It’s also incredibly robust, I have two herding dogs (a heeler and a heeler cross) that the cat likes to tussle with and it is still perfectly fine.

easy to use and doesnt seem to cause any discomfort for my pet
Was super easy to inflate/deflate. The material is not thin - appears durable and built to last. My dog can eat , drink and move around no problem. He is not smashing into things and can rest/sleep in it comfortably.I have a 20 pound westie and ordered a size small - I think I should have sized up. But I deflated it a little and it serves its purpose - he cannot get at his ears. (and a lot of other areas). There are areas he can still reach but if it were inflated more and i had ordered the proper size then maybe he couldn't.

It can work…
We have a black female belgium shepherd that had an infection of some sort around her gut. Did NOT want to purchase those plastic cheap ones at the vets. Decided to go on here to see what other options were available. This looked appropriate and it was about the same price as the vet ones. My first impressions upon opening up this package in the mail was no good. It looked like it had been taken straight from a dollar store. It looked cheap. There was a separate yellow pump that you were supposed to use which in hindsight would blow up the hamburger with. It was a not well made. I decided to try to see what this would look like and blow it up anyway. Unfortunately the plastic tube would not fit into the hamburger circle to inflate. After repeated tries the nozzle snapped. Yes, we saw that one coming.I was unimpressed and called to start a return. Then after thinking a bit, i decided to see if it could be blown up by myself. I could in fact. Once that was done, the product looked much better though still did not really look like a realistic hamburger. The material itself is not plastic but does have some thickness. Its not moveable to much but it is easy to slide onto your dogs neck. There is a velcro strap so this enables you to tighten or loosen the product. In my experience, this was very sturdy and stayed on well. With this item, for size reference large is a good size for shepherds. Our dog was able to walk around without much effort. I also appreciated that she can easily see without being obscured. There are two things with this to be aware. A couple times our dog was caught being able to get to its sore spot. But BECAUSE it is an effort to do so, she stopped almost immediately. Aside from this it held air quite well. I did put in a tad more after a couple days just for good measure. Overall it was a good purchase. I give it 4 stars as the plastic inflator is no good.

Size chart is wrong
I followed the size chart and it was too tight for my little dog. Also, the seam of the inflatable part is right where it goes around the neck and it is noticeably raised and rigid, not comfortable for a dog especially when lying down.

It’s okay. Should come with a few tips..
Okay, I ordered this particular item primarily because it was a ‘next day’ delivery item. My 9lb puppy got spayed and was very sad in her cone of shame so time was of the essence. It came after two days, but her mood immediately improved and she finally started eating again so I was happy to receive it.The hole to fill it with air was sealed shut, I had to stick a knife in there to be able to inflate it, but it worked out.It fit great! Looked cute! Immediately made my puppy more comfortable so I was happy. Was….Within a few hours, she had destroyed it… I placed it on her with the air filler thing facing up and she chewed it! This would have been avoidable had she worn it facing down.I wouldn’t say don’t order this item, but do so with caution, time to spare, and the ability to monitor your puppy while wearing. If you have a bigger dog you could use a travel pillow that’s not filled with air, might be more durable.
