Magno Jabon by La Toja. Magno Classic Black Glycerin Soap Set - 2 Bars x 4.4 oz Each

I bought Magno soaps for my sons for Christmas. They are both in their 20's. The soap has an amazing aroma and is gentle on the skin. I can't stress enough how wonderful this smells. Both of their girlfriends love it, too! My sons want me to put it on their Christmas list for next year.

I have used this wonderful Spanish glycerine soap for over 20 years. At first I was intrigued by the idea of getting clean with black soap. Then I realized that it does really clean hands and face, the scent is mild but very pleasant, and it is very gentle on the skin. So I was sold. My only complaint is that it is not easy to find in stores, so I'm grateful to Amazon for making it readily available.

Not as I remembered, but still smells nice. It tends to go grayish after a few uses.

I love this soap. I bought my first bar while on a trip in Spain over 30 years ago! The product is timeless! It has a wonderful fragrance and so unique because of the brown color. It would make a great gift.

I've used Magno soap for about 25 years, but the smell is very different! It used to be a lighter vanilla-musky, soapy-clean scent. This soap smells strongly of Civet cat (and by Civet Cat I mean feces). When I opened the package I was almost blown over backwards at the harsh odor. I thought that maybe it had to do with being wrapped tightly, so I opened a bar and let it "air" for a few days, but the strong smell continued unabated. It looks the same as the old Magno soap, the packaging is the same, but the smell is very different. It was shipped promptly by the seller, and well-wrapped - I just hate the smell, so I can't say how it lathers, etc.

I bought this soap in Spain some years ago and loved it and was happy to see I could order it. It smells and uses just as I remember it. I will order it again. It is not only attractive, but I like the lather and the my bathroom smells great with it just sitting there.

I like this soap. It's not the fantastic soap I've been searching for, but it does lather nicely and the scent is pleasant.

What the heck happened to this soap? I have used this soap for over 20 years, and adored the scent and how moisturizing it is. I just received a new set, and it smells god awful. I really hope they did not change the formulation. It is not as moisturizing to me, either. Maybe a bad batch? It would be heartbreaking to give up this soap....anyone else have this experience?October 27, 2016: well for research purposes, I bought this soap from 2 other vendors. Found the same thing: the fragrance has indeed changed. No longer is this a lovely, warm soap. Now a shrill, plastic, cloying floral smell. Not as moisturizing. Dang! Have to move on and find another favorite soap. Why, why, why did they have to mess with a good thing??? Taking more stars away in my rating.....

Mijn ouders hadden deze zeep en vond altijd dat die zo een zalige geur had. Na zoveel jaar later wist ik de naam niet meer en begon ik hier te zoeken en vond deze terug, nog altijd dezelfde zalige geur en een lekker schuimende zeep. Ik ben blij .thx

Le savon n’est plus le même que celui que nous avions l’habitude d’acheter. La forme, la texture ont changé. Celui-ci colore l’eau en noire ce qui n’était pas le cas avec celui acheté précédemment.
