Rinse the snow prior to adding
Daughter loved making her first globe. Received as a pre-Christmas present so she could enjoy craft time and making presents for others. So far, she enjoyed using the tough, non-drying, non-baking clay to make scene accessories for the mermaid figure she chose. Would work well with other small toys to make tiny scenes. I look forward to her designing more snow globes and applying problem solving strategies outside of this helpfully designed kit. Current packaging was pleasant matte texture and inviting design. Is it from the North Pole? Looks kinda like it is. Plastic globe scratches easily, glue cannot be resealed. Four stars!

So much fun and great quality
We got this for our 2 kids and they had so much fun putting together all of the globes. I had never seen a toy like this and was looking for something creative with clay that they could make. All the materials were great quality and don’t feel cheap at all. I actually think I will get this for a few gifts for some birthdays we have coming up! Loved it!

These are not easy to make!
I wanted to like this make your own snow globe kit but there are too many flaws. First off, you don't get enough clay which was frustrating for the kids. Second of all it is tough to get a good seal if you plan on using glitter. And kids love glitter. And if you use the provided snow, it makes the water cloudy. Overall this was a very frustrating craft activity.

Doesn't live up to its name
It was a fun activity to do with my kids. However, it does not provide adequate supplies to seal the snow globe water-tight so it doesn't leak. It suggests putting glitter in but once you add the water, the glitter it is so fine it just clouds up the entire thing. There is only clay to seal it up, which is not going to say long-term. It temporary held water. Would not buy again. Wish I could return.

No snow in the globe.
My kids had a great time constructing the clay to make there snow globes. However that’s where the fun stopped. The glitter completely sticks to the clay so when you shake it once water is in it doesn’t actually move within it. And the glitter sticks to the side of the walls and doesn’t actually snow when you shake it.we had high hopes for this. Yes They did have fun constructing the clay part but now they look terrible the end result is not what we were looking for.My daughter made the super sweet manger scene and the instructions say to cover it with glitter which I assumed would then shake around with when the water was added. However it’s just staying put and now baby Jesus is just covered in glitter.Honestly I wish I had tried my luck with the DIY snow gloves from dollar tree and put it been much happier with the end result with the type of snow that the dollar store sells. The snow that comes with this globe sets is too heavy and completely sinks to the bottom and doesn’t even move when you shake it.The only way I could see this being a fun activity as if you just didn’t add the glitter or the snow… But for us it’s too late because everything is sealed with the glue. Also I didn’t feel comfortable with the glue that they sold so I used a 6000 which is a much heavier substantial glue.I included a picture of the instructions so that you can see that I follow the instructions to a T assuming that the end result would work out but alas it did not.
