this watering bag did just what I bought it for..I set it up after the sun went down..living in okla, days are really warm so I wanted it to drain at night..next morning almost all the water was out of the bag..it did what it was suppose to do..perfect product..

I keep buying more of these. Love them for young trees and trees on a hillside. Use less water and get more of it to the tree itself.We did get one that didn't seem to drip at all, so we had to poke some small holes with a scratch awl.

You get what you pay for... I got one of these to compare it to the original name brand watering bags that I bought for twice as much last year. The name brand ones worked great all year and are still going strong now that it's spring. They made my trees look great too. These Grabley bags are garbage. I mean that literally too. It feels like they're made out of heavy duty garbage bags. The material isn't rigid enough to stand up to the weight of the water when you fill it, so it just kind of folds over on itself which keeps the water from getting out of the bottom of the bag. I don't think they're 20 gallons either. It takes about half the time to fill one of these compared to the name brand ones, so I'm guessing 10 gallons. The $14 isn't even worth the hassle of returning it, so I'll poke a hole in it to drain it today and toss it out.

Somebody told me that these bags kept the water going for 3 weeks. it only lasts one day

MUST be on level ground or the bag leans against your tree, and if the tree is young (thus needing steady watering, which is why I bought this) your tree can be damaged, especially if it is a very young oak. Not pleased. Got the bag filled with 20 gallons of water and then nearly killed my back trying to keep it from stressing my 2" tree that it was making lean over....

These are time and tree savers! Just fill every three-four days and the proper amount of water will be distributed to your newly planted trees or large shrubs with a worry free watering solution. Have used this product for several years on several projects and always completely satisfied.

Don't try to adjust the bag once it's filled with water. My zipper ripped from it's stitching all the way up....Edit:Seller contacted me and offered up a replacement. I received the replacements in short order, and lesson learned.

These bags are very flimsy and cheaply made. I just bought mine a month ago and the zipper ripped off of the bag and the bags do not drain properly do not purchase these bag spend the extra money and get the Gator bags!
