They actually do a good job!
Simple, straightforward and affordable hearing aids for mild to moderate hearing loss. They are basic and easy to use. Just what I wanted without the extra bells and whistles I didn’t need. I was surprised and pleased with the supplemental supplies that were included and the nice zippered clam shell case in which to store them. The charging base is so simple to use, although I wish it came with a cover. Overall, very impressive.

They Work and The Price is Right!
They have definitely improved my hearing. I’ve been using them for a little over a week, so I am still getting used to them. However, I can say that they have definitely improved my hearing significantly and they work as advertised. They don't have all the "bells and whistles" of the hearing aids that my audiologist suggested I buy, but these are almost $5,000 less. Though I do hear a difference in the sound quality of these versus the $5,000 hearing aids, it is not that significant enough to justify spend the extra money. They do filter noise on the noise filtering settings and I find that useful when driving or in a loud environment. While using these hearing aids I have lowered the volume on the tv significantly to a point where my wife told me it was too low. These hearing aids are simple to use, charge up quickly and last throughout the day, provide a significant improvement to those with impaired hearing, and are affordable. They’re discrete on my ears, feel comfortable, can be used with glasses, and the sound is close enough to natural.

Great for the money
I've had a couple of over-the-counter behind-the-ear hearing aids before I got these. The others were much more expensive and did not really have better sound than the earcentrics. I had the Bose and the Tweak Enhance aids. The Bose required replacing the batteries every three days and the Enhance only held a charge for 12-13 hours. The Earcentric holds a charge for at least 17 hours (they advertise 20 hrs. or more). The Earcentric aids are very basic - no phone app and no frequency adjustments. They do have two modes: normal conversation and noisy environment, but I can't detect any difference between them. So basically all you can do is adjust the volume. But if your hearing loss is the typical one where there's more loss at higher frequencies, then these aids will work pretty well. The amazing thing is that these amplify just as well as the more expensive ones I've tried. Plus, the ear dome adapters have both open and closed versions. I've found the closed version works better for me. My other aids had different dome sizes, but only one style - the open one. That lets in outside sounds and makes them more susceptible to feedback that causes whistling if you put your hand near the aids. The earcentric has different size of both types of ear domes. it comes with plenty of accessories and even some spare parts. So the earcentric aids, even though very basic, do just as well and even better than the more complex types I've tried. That makes this aid very good for anyone who might get confused with extra adjustments and features. The lowest amplification level is a bit higher than other aids, so if your hearing loss is very mild these might be a bit loud at the lowest setting. The good news is that you can amplify sounds more than some other aids.In summary, these are incredible aids for the price. They're simple to use, have more options with the ear domes that fit in the ear (I didn't try the high gain tubing option that came with it). The sound fidelity is as good as more expensive aids, although the very expensive types (>$1000) probably are even better. I haven't tried their customer support, but they do seem to have good support, based on the literature.Update:I've been using these for a year and I should mention that there is no sound compression, that is, no automatic lowering of the gain for loud sounds. This can make loud sounds a bit painful to hear. There is also no directionality setting - you can't set it to focus on sounds in front of you. This makes hearing in crowded environments problematic. But I still like these aids.I still have a little trouble with the intelligibility of speech, even though it's louder with the aids, but the more expensive aids gave me the same problem. I highly recommend the earcentric as being the most cost effective hearing aids that meet the minimum requirements for better hearing.

Easy to Use and Good Sound
Item came with very clear instructions, and worked as advertised. I ordered several different brands and both in ear and over ear, in this price range, to see which was best, and this was by far the best sound and ease of use. The clear tube tucks into the fold of your ear, and is nearly invisible (from what I can see). Controls are small, but pretty easy to use when you're wearing them ... and they give a little beep, so you know it's doing what you wanted. I've only had them a couple of weeks, and still in the 'few hours a day' mode, so can't say how comfortable they'll be for all-day use, but very light and comfortable so far.

The best hearing aids that give me the most clarity
I’ve been wearing my EarCentric hearing aids for about 2 weeks. The cost was extremely affordable. The fit is comfortable, I really don’t even know I’m wearing them. They’re pretty much invisible, so far no one has noticed them. Sometimes there’s a little feedback noise but only if my hand is too close to the opening of my ear and only for a slit second. The sound is great! Especially the TV setting! I have a real hard time with clarity. I can’t understand what most people are saying, the TV, watching movies at the theater, comedy shows, etc. NOW I can hear everything clearly!!! It’s very easy to adjust the loudness and the different modes while wearing them. This is not the first hearing aids I’ve tried but they are the best, my search is over.I highly recommend EarCentric hearing aids. They have really enhanced my life!

Buttons are tough at first but they are an excellent hearing aide
While I really like these aides they do take time to get used to. Don’t give up they are an excellent product. I have worn expensive aides for over 3 years and they are as good and reliable. The charger is great and far cheaper than battery powered. They are easier to clean and accessories hold up better. Would highly recommend them.
