Just received my multi-color Crocs last week & thought I'd give a brief review as well as comment on some of the pre-purchase reviews I saw on here.As far as Crocs "running large" or "wishing they'd make half sizes;" you have to realize that for most whole-sized feet, you'll either be able to wear your Crocs comfortably in 'Sport Mode' (strap back) ---OR as slip-ons, but NOT both ways. That's because their half sizes are created by putting the strap down. Thus, if your foot is a true "7" "8" or "9" etc.,, you'll get the best fit by ordering your true size & wearing them only as slip-ons.Thus, it seems likely that If your foot measures as a half-size, then you'll have to likewise choose as to how you'll want to wear them. If as a slip-on, I'd round Down - That's because Crocs do appear to run a tad bit large, and you could probably get a perfect slip-on fit. If you want to wear these as clogs with strap down, then you should round UP.I'm wearing my 9s as slip-ons with strap up and as a true size 9, they fit great this way. But if I try to go in sport mode and tuck into the strapped Crocs, my toes get crammed & it gets a bit too tight for my liking.So if you're reading this as a First-time Crocs buyer, then this review is for you...Reviewers saying their Crocs fit too small are likely to be those measuring at half-sizes who rounded DOWN, and are wearing them in strap-down or "sport mode." Reviewers saying their shoes are a bit too large are likely those with either half-sized feet who rounded UP OR whole sizes who ordered the next size up and are wearing them as slip-ons.Hopefully you get the gist and can make a more informed decision. This is essentially an design problem and I doubt there's anything the company can do about it while keeping the style in tact (where the strap cascades nicely atop the shoe when up).Incidentally, these are indeed "super cute," reasonably lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear around the house. More importantly, they serve the critical-for-me function of foot protection. (I shattered my right pinky toe 2X in the last 16 months, on the same couch leg no less. Doc says it's 'cause my peripheral vision is waning. Oh well.. Aging. It's a B.)
