I have a clean diet and decided to add these Collagen peptides to my daily green smoothies for a little extra “something something”. After about two weeks I noticed that my hair was a bit shinier than normal, even down to the ends, and my nails felt hardier than ever. My skin felt a little more plump, nothing mind blowing mind you, but it’s enough for me to justify to continue purchasing this.Keep in mind that this is a Type I Collagen which means it can benefit skin, hair, nails, and bone health, but NOT in cartilage and joints, you’ll want Type II for that. It’s not life changing but it’s definitely worth it for a little something extra!I would highly recommend mixing this with hot tea as it helps to dissolve the powder better whereas cold drinks can make it clump up and become a little gooey (eww!). The taste isn’t good but it’s certainly not bad either. Mixing this product with something else is the best way to drink it if you’re sensitive to tastes/flavors!

I am super impressed with this Collagen Peptide product from Nutraholics. I have tried 4 or 5 different collagen powders and pills and my favorites are at a higher price point. This is something that I take everyday in my coffee (hot or iced, it works in both just fine!). I was noticing that my hair, skin and nails were frail and dull so I introduced collagen to my diet about 9 months ago. I have gone through tubs and tubs of collagen peptides but I definitely notice a difference and do not want to be without this product. I decided to try this one because it was less expensive to see if I noticed any differences in the product quality and I honestly do not! This one is just as good! One of the other products I bought several times was getting rave reviews and marked up their prices, which just irritates me! So I am happy to find a less expensive replacement. This is tasteless, odorless, and mixes really well! I definitely recommend collagen to all of my friends.

Didn’t like the taste

After having used other collagen powders, I consider Nutraholics Collagen Peptides a superior collagen peptide protein powder than any on the market. Not only is this collagen powder 100% natural with only one ingredient--grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine hide collagen peptides--it's loaded with amino acids, water soluble and easy to mix into any liquid. I put a scoop in my morning smoothie, along with fresh fruit, almond milk and peanut butter powder, and I feel great, have no digestive issues at all, have high energy, and I'm satiated for hours. The bovine hides are from Brazil, and the product is made in the US, is gluten free and non GMO. And, their customer service is as superior as the product--they are easily and quickly available and very responsive, as well as knowledgeable and extremely helpful. A mutual friend made me and another friend each a drink with 2 products this one and another brand them to see if one cup had a taste that was noticable lor undesirable. We didnt know which cups were which and we both picked this one. So our mutual friend divided it into 2 containers a weeks worth and didn't tell us anything about which one we picked. After the week we all talked about texture, blending, grittiness all of it and we took notes. She then had us take a week off and repeated the steps with the other one for a week. At the end she showed us which one we liked and this was both our picks as a winner. So now all 3 of us use it. I cant say 100% if it makes a difference or not but I do know i feel healthier knowing i had my glass.

It comes packaded to the brim with ingrediants. The scoop has a funnel, I couldn't get it open, but it helps with pouring it accurately into small top water bottles. In terms of tastes, it does have a strong taste that is noticeable. I mixed mine with strawberry sugar free koolaid thinking the taste could be masked. In small amounts it tasted like strawberry jello but meaty, but in larger (full scoop in 12 ouces) it made me nauseous. I think it's best if used in soups or dishes with meat in it. I bought to replace pills but I think I'll just stick with the pills.Update: I made mushroom miso soup this morning decided to put in 3 scoops of the powder. It made the soup taste so much richer. My advice would be to use it in soups, there is no noticeable change in texture, even after uping the scoops to 5

(The title was supposed to have "Shake your Groove Thang" playing in your head about now.) Hoping so much that collagen and other items will help with the hair loss and nail issues of age! I like that this is non GMO, "clean" collagen. Works best (i.e., you notice it less) mixed in a shake with frozen fruit or yogurt. There's no taste, but if it is not mixed well with other heavy foods you would notice the way it feels in your mouth. Not a problem as a shake, though!

I have tried several different collagen powders and this one is the real deal!! It mixes easily in my coffee and best of all the results I have experienced speak for themselves! This is the first collagen powder that has truly shown a difference in my hair and nails. I originally started taking collagen powder due to stomach issues and pain for bursitis in my hip. I am amazed at the difference in not only the pain being resolved, but also with the difference in my skin as well. My stomach also feels so much better, I am thankful! Am getting ready to place my 2nd order right now! Highly recommend!
