Used it to light a parking area in the corner of the building. Bright enough for just that small corner stall, not overkill, enough to provide safety light.

I just installed this unit tonight and was pleasantly surprised on its ease of installation as well as its brightness.

I had purchased some supposedly aluminum construction wall pack lights from amazon.ca only to find out they were made of plastic when they arrived. After returing them I found these lights on amazon.com and am glad I did. They are very well made with an aluminum housing and a good quality plastic/poly lens. Nice weatherproof gaskets all around. I have mine connected to a smart switch and had no need for the photocell which was easy to disconnect. They are very bright and a good color temperature, just the way I like. If I wanted to nit pick I would say this. The punch outs for the wiring could be easier to remove. I have a good set of punches and it took a few good whacks with a hammer to remove them. I then deburred the edges with a dremel. I wish the wiring was a bit longer. If you are doing your wire nuts in the enclosure itself not a big deal but I passed the wires into my garage and did the connections inside an interior junction box. The ground was too short but easily removed with a simple screw and replaced with a longer wire. The only way to easily extend the neutral and hot wires would be by splicing into them which I did not want to do. As it is they were long enough for my application as it was. Another 6 inches would have been nice all around though. Even with these minor annoyances I'll give these lights a solid 5 stars all around. Very pleased with this purchase. I placed 192 separate orders on amazon.ca in 2020 plus a few more on .com as well and this is the only product I've bothered to write a positive review on. That should tell you how much I'm impressed with these.

I have bought at least twelve of these lights over the years, and nearly all of them, after about two to three years have begun to blink continuously, caused by a malfunctioning dusk to dawn sensor, at least I thought so at first, but when I removed the sensors from a couple of them, the blinking problem still continued, so the problem maybe the entire power unit.

These light are VERY well made and easy to install. They have stainless hardware and silicone gaskets for the lens and also gaskets for the back that can be customized for the way you are mounting them. They dusk to dawn feature works perfectly.The problem with these lights is they are EXTREMELY BRIGHT and a pure white light!! If that is what you want buy them now! You won't be disappointed.I have a 6 car drive way and I mounted 1 of these on each side of my 1 car garage. These lights make my driveway, the street and my neighbors yard across the street look like it's daytime in the middle of the night.I tried removing the lens and spray painting the inside with Krylon Ice Sea Glass spray paint. This makes them looked smoked from the outside. Well this may have cut the brightness by 25%. I needed it to cut the brightness 65%-75%! I will try putting a coat of white over the smoke I already have. I really want to make these work because I love them . I wish I could get a lens that cuts down the brightness.I would Definitely give 5 stars if the were not so bright!

These lights are super bright!. My garage loads from the side and so does my neighbor’s to the left. I mounted my lights on each side of the garage. They light up the entire area all the way back to my neighbor’s garage, which is at lease 60 feet away! Two nights after I mounted these lights, I noticed that my neighbor no longer turns his own lights on. His area is now more illuminated from my lights than it was from his own!.The photo cells work precisely; the light promptly turn on as soon as it gets dark and off as soon as day breaks.I had a little problem mounting one of the lights. This was due to the fact that the builders of the house turned one of the wall boxes in the wrong direction. I was able to drill a few new holes and make it work. I highly recommend these lights.
