Strong and reliable guides
I searched and searched before finally ordering these trailer guides for my boat. I had heard people complaining about others that use thin metal and wanted something that would be durable. These have been perfect allowing easy loading of my boat and a visual guide for backing the trailer without the boat being loaded onto the trailer. Of course, you can't hit them at speed but normal use works perfectly. so glad I ordered these.

Cheap garbage and the description is wrong.
The bunks are only 45 inches, NOT 48. The rails aren't "powder coated", they are spray painted with paint that is already chipping upon delivery. The rails are going to rust out in less than a year. The hardware is cheap, zinc garbage definitely not suited for salt water. The cloth wrapping the bunks is cheap garbage and the staples used to secure the cloth is zinc, not stainless steel. Finally, and I don't know this for sure, but I'd bet my house that the lumber used for the bunks is not pressure treated. Save your money Boys. This product is garbage.

Worked even though mounting brackets Don't. I knew that though.
I knew the brackets wouldn't work but had to be sure the outside diameter was correct since I have Square Tube frame the had an inside diameter of 1 5/8" and the new guide tubes were 1.5". Not a lot of leeway but teh discprotion was correct. Slid right in and if anything, a bit smaller than 1.5" which was no issue. Actually, they look much better this way and almost like they are a part of the trailer. Just FYI if anyone has this issue of not being able to use the mounting brackets that probably work on the majority of trailers. The build looks strong and square tube is much better than the round tube ones that came with it when I bought. I did the same install with inner guides too.

Cheap carpeted planks, nice mounting poles
Like others have posted, the wood plants are cheap glued together plywood poorly wrapped with carpet and not rubber like the description states. The mounting poles are thicker than I imagined and seem to be well made. Others said the u bolts would work on a smaller frame and my cross members are 2” square tubes. The u-bolts were too long to mount with the nuts on top of the plate. I ended up spending $20 for tie plates so I could put the u part of the bolts over the top and put the threaded sides down through the tie plate to sandwich the boat trailer cross member in between. I wouldn’t have needed the tie plates if my cross member was 3” tall as the u bolts were not threaded down far enough. I only see this working without adjustments if your cross member is between 2 and 2.5 inches wide and 3 inches tall.

You need these!
Added these to my boat trailer to assist with guiding the pontoons squarely on the bunks. What had been a struggle became an easy task by adding these guides. No more in-and-out of the water trying to get the boat to align properly on the trailer.

Broken bracket
The brackets weren’t strong enough that came with it. We had to go get stronger brackets so that they wouldn’t break. Good thing we weren’t out on the lake when this happened!😳
