Works great for about a week ..
I don’t usually leave feedback but I like this product so I figured my review might be useful. After a week of light usage, it starts to have problem like starts by flicking it. It’s louder and rattle a bit more. Seemed to become worn out a bit just after a week. I compared mine with my coworkers. They had just bought theirs because of seeing mine for the first time when I brought it to the office. It may not start by hand anymore as it’s showing wear this quick. Will update again.Update: It pretty much went downhill with the wearing, rattle and unable to sustain a hand start about 3/10 times now. However I got a refund for replacement from Jarvan, but I haven’t gotten a replacement yet because it doesn’t qualify for free shipping alone. I wish they had just sent me a replacement instead of refund then having to repurchase one. Until I get with other items to make minimum for free shipping.

Great for rehabbing my arm & hand. Very easy to use
I suffered from a stroke last year that left one of my forearms and hand useless. I have tried all kinds of different therapies to strengthen it. I feel this will help me more than any squeezable thing. It is fun to use, yet functional. In a few more months of using this forceball I will be well on my way of total recovery. To use all you do it place the rip cord in the hole and pull it like a yoyo. Then grasp firmly and rotate your wrist. The faster it goes the more the LED lights flash. The only battery is for the LED light/speed counter. The lights are optional. Included is the ball, a wind up cord and a instruction sheet.

Great fun, beneficial for rehab and comes with light show
I had one of these powerball in the past and they sure made it more fun with these lights flashing. It's made of clear plastic casing and black rubber grip in the center of the sphere for easy hold. Before in past only one method to get it spinning which is thumb flick but newer model like this one makes it easier for beginners with a little string attachment in the middle and pull method. It's a great workout for your wrist and forearm. This particular one comes with digital counter so you can see your rpm and number of rotation plus the best part, it lights up.

Great for strengthening muscles
I got this to relieve repetitive strain from excessive mouse use, and to help strengthen and loosen the wrist muscles. So far it seems to be doing the job as far as that goes. Great for strengthening muscles. A good way to take a break from your day too. We have found it relaxing because you have to concentrate on the gyroball to get it started and keeping the rhythm going and watching the lights.

Fun but be careful !
The ball works well, LED's light up when in motion, resistance build up is quick and sustained and makes awesome swooshing sounds.BUT : the winding string has jagged edge on the tips. This metal tip goes in the spinning wheel on the ball to act as an anchor and allows you to wind the string on. This can also give you a bad cut if not careful.I was 10 minutes into using the forceball and pulled the string. It got caught in the internal wheel and yanked the piece off my hand - leaving me with a decent size cut on the thumb.Maybe they could keep one side with metal to act as anchor in the spinning groove, and leave other side rounded / smoother for safety of users.Any rate - I'm shelving mine away from kids.
