10-Hole Birdhouse with Low Copper Roof, Amish Crafted in The USA

Shipped very quickly--wrapped super good. A very beautiful addition to the yard,extremely happy with the purchase. Fits exactly over a 4x4 post which actually will measure 31/2 x 3 1/2 . We secured it by putting a few screws at base. Didn't include instructions on how to clean out,but that seems easy enough to figure out. Great craftsmanship on this product--would highly recommend this bird house. Am actually looking at purchasing another after seeing this one!

This is an absolutely beautiful birdhouse, and a lovely addition to any backyard. I bought one of these some 15 years ago. It had a cedar shake roof which finally gave up the ghost after so many years out in the weather. With this copper roof I would expect this one to last even longer. The old one could not be opened for cleaning - this one can, which is a huge plus. The old one was home to many bluebirds over the years, so I'm hoping this one will be also..

If you buy the New England mounting post that is suggested. Be prepared for some significant modification on the base of the birdhouse. The post is exactly 4 inches by 4 inches and the mount on the house is about 3.5 inches by 3.5. With difficulty I was able modify it, but is was no easy task. However the end result is beautiful.

I love this beautiful birdhouse, the copper roof completes the elegant look.As you open the box you can smell the quality of the wood. It was nestled with great care from damage, the outstanding job of keeping the birdhouse packaged so nothing unexpected would happen during transport. I would highly recommend this seller and product.

Well built, has a nice white finish on it, no need to paint. The only draw back is that you will need to remove the copper top and two of the mounting screws in order to open it up. But overall a great well made item.

The used version that I bought had some very small issues as expected but it is a very nice looking birdhouse. Cleaning it is problematic. The build of the house is solid and many happy bird families have already made a home in it.

Quality was not what I expected for such a pricey birdhouse. While the copper roof was very nicely done,workman ship on the box itself was much less than I expected. Paint if very thin. Also, made for 3.5" x 3.5'"post. Will not fit standard PVC post. Had to bend roof bar to correct size. Cheap plated hardware that I expect to soon rust. In all, beautiful design, but poorly executed.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Long story short, it was shipped without the roof. I did receive prompt feedback on my inquiries, but mistakenly thought I was told the roof was packed inside the birdhouse, when they actually said it was packed beside the birdhouse. By the time I got the birdhouse opened (it's not a super simple task), and discovered that the roof wasn't there, it was too late for Christmas. I was sent a roof. My other complaint is you have to make your own guide holes to install the bracket that the roof attaches to. It's not overly complicated for someone with basic carpentry skills and a drill, but there were no instruction on how to properly place the bracket. You also are instructed to install screws at the base to hold it on the post, but you are on your own to do that and provide your own screws. Again, not overly complicated. but not a turn-key product.
