Value for money
I bought the green version and for the money it's quite impressive. I'd say the case is around 42mm, so a bit bigger than a traditional field watch, but it sits nicely on my 6.7" wrist. The nylon strap is of a decent quality and is soft enough so it doesn't cut into your skin. The buckle is made of metal and the case is stainless steel. The face is very clear and easy to read. Pull out the crown and you can change the time and date. Changing the date gives a satisfying click each time you turn the crown. The second hand stops moving when changing the time, so you can set the time very accurately. Over the past two weeks, it's kept its time well. I'll see how accurate it is going forward. The face is covered by some sort of plastic or plexi glass (my best guess), but for the price you wouldn't expect anything else. It seems to withstand scratches so far... Pretty impressive for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another Zeiger product.

Good looking watch at a very low price
You will have ended up here if you are looking for a cheap watch. Well, this one is certainly inexpensive. I liked it because it looked like a more expensive one that I have recently fished out of the washing machine. An expendable alternative seemed sensible. It has a military style face with 24 hour markings. The casing is gunmetal grey. The strap is nylon webbing. The material is doubled over so it feels stiff but strong. The buckle could be the weak point. Time keeping for the first week has been good. Its not very complicated. One click on the crown sets the date, two clicks and you set the time. Its also light and easy to wear. Downsides are: 1) the hands are slender and not fluorescent so you have no chance of telling the telling the time in poor light; and 2) the date is so small and deep set in the face you need a magnifying glass to read it. Other reviews note its not waterproof, so keep away from water. In short a good looking watch at an incredibly low price.

A great looking watch that is about the right size and weight, with an equally attractive price tag
I wanted a basic but good looking watch that could be worn at work or out and about. I got this for just under a tenner as part of a lightning deal. My concern was that I wouldn't like it when it arrived. However I'm absolutely delighted so far.To be honest, it's a cheap watch designed to look like a swiss crafted timepiece, without being a fake. Aesthetically it looks good. It arrived in a large quality looking box, although the watch was cellophane wrapped inside which killed the open box experience somewhat, but I was expecting it to arrive loose in a jiffy bag.I was originally going to go for a black wrist band but opted for green. Very pleased I did. It aligns with the no-nonsense military style that this watch exudes. I can imagine black would also look good so maybe will get one as a gift for a lucky friend or relative. There were some instructions included although it's intuitive enough if you ever owned a watch before. There is a disposable spacer that prevents the battery being wasted whilst in transit, which needs to be removed. It should just come away but I was a little concerned whether this was meant to be removed.I like that it has a seconds hand plus the day of the month. I'm certain this requires setting every month as it will assume a month is 31 days long which only about half are with few contiguous 31 day months. Well it's a nice to have.My other slight concern was the size of this watch. It looks like it could be the size of a 10p piece which would look a little too small, especially as a man's watch. It is in fact just about right. Kind of the old fashioned watch face size that have since been taken over by ludicrously large and pathetically small variations. It really does look as good as the images here and I'm hoping it will last. I've had many cheap watches that break faster than my interest in them, but fingers crossed about this one.I only received this today but will update this review if my initial impression is swayed in time

You get what you pay for
To be honest, this is not a bad looking watch, the construction is from very lightweight what seems to be anodised steel, and is engineered quite well. The watch face is big, clear and very easy to read with clear bright simple numbers and outer bezel markers. The strap is constructed from cheap nylon (guessing) webbing but does the job. For a watch costing under £25 you get what you pay for but that being said it does what it's supposed to do and that is tell the time. And it does it more accurately than my Rolex GMT II which has to be wound on a mechanical winder when I'm not wearing it and loses about 2 minutes a month

Stylish and good quality.
This is a very stylish military type watch. With no annoying bells and whistles. It tells the time and tells the date, with added splash proofing and time accuracy. To me it's not just the style, but the length of the strap, as many are too short. This is a strap that is good quality and of good length. All in all very happy with my purchase, at a good price.

Nice looking watch
Like the watch and strap - The ridiculously load tick is unbearable. I just cannot use the watch. Other people can also hear the tick from across the room!!

Value for the money.
What's not to like it's brilliant with a nice clear dial and a very comfortable blue strap.

good but
Nice watch , the only let down is the strap. its heavy duty and does the job but it is so annoying. the strap wont tuck into the holder to take up the extra strap once on the wrist. the strap is quite stiff, so it is forever opening up again and has fallen off my wrist at work three times now. a change of strap is needed for me.
