Great looking and easy to write with notebook.
I genuinely don’t have a bad thing to say about the notebook given the price point. I mean, it’s the ultimate value for money, when you balance it with quality of other products. This is a great looking notebook, and I used it for journaling and keeping track of thoughts. Though I didn’t wanna just use a normal notebook, this satiates my need for aesthetics and functionality. If you’re worried about bleed through, don’t be. I use this notebook with fountain pens and darker inks - I’ve had absolutely no problems, writing back page and front page. There’s enough space to keep writing for months on end.

handles inks perfectly
Got this to try TRP in a slightly heavier gsm, and it has not disappointed. My pen and swatch testing has performed perfectly. I'm pretty sure I can use any of my fountain pens or markers in this notebook without any issue whatsoever. I love the blank cardstock cover in the Midori style. Several of the planner companies only use PU leather and it really bothers me. Highly recommend this to try TRP in a less expensive way than purchasing a full planner.

It has tomoe river paper. What else is there to say.
This is not a bad notebook. Although the book binding seems flimsy so far it has held up from my experience. I will buy more of them in the future.

Perfect
Excellent book for use as a bullet journal. Takes fountain pen inks well. No feathering and very little bleed through unless you’re using a very wet ink or quite a bold nib. Tomoe river paper is the best. Binding lays flat and pages don’t jump up. This is a repeat buy from a fountain pen enthusiast.

Not what I was expecting
Bought this as everyone says this is the best paper for fountain pens, probably a bad batch since I have mixed results with my inks, some feather, some don’t, am I only own fine and extra fine nibs, as for the binding I guess it could be better, signatures as shown in the picture are already falling apart, since this is a handmade product I won’t give a 1 star since I know how difficult this can be, my advice to the seller is to use either a bookbinding glue or more coats on the spine

Sturdy and durable but a tad on the plain side.
I take a lot of notes for different projects (I work freelance) and I really like having different notebooks for each project. I also write with a fountain pen most of the time so I like having notebooks with a thicker paper so the ink doesn't bleed through. After doing some research, time and again people seemed to recommend Tomoe River notebooks. This is my first time trying them. The paper is perfect for my fountain pen use. I've had no issues with it. The design of the book is a bit bland. I've been sampling a lot of different journals and notebooks lately and while I don't need flashy, this is frankly boring. Maybe if I were a doodler or liked doing sketches, this plain tan cover would be a great place to draw, but as a professional, I like something that looks just a tad classier. Still, no complaints about the quality of the product.

Good paper, bad subpar page binding...
While the notebook is as advertised, and the paper seems fine (this is my first notebook with Tomoe River paper, so I don't have anything to compare it to), the binding was done badly in a few places (as can be seen in the picture). I did a quick count, and it seems like all the pages are there, so I can only assume this is not a returned item that somebody ripped apart before hand, but a manufacturer error. The notebook is still usable, and I started writing in it before noticing the quality control issues, so I won't be returning it, but I wanted to leave a review here to let people know what they might end up with, as it is not exactly cheap.
