This is the perfect size for the bed in my camper. I use it to hold my CPAP. there is enough room for my backup battery to fit between CPAP and the matress. The lip is tall enough to hole everything in place without having to use any type of strap.

Used this in my dorm and loved it and gave it as a gift to a friend!

I really like this. For me, I use it mostly as a transfer for getting food items from A-b, so the size is not an issue at all! So yes, I would buy this again, and do recommend. :)

perfect when you don't have space for a side table! It's sturdy enough to hold a few books, water bottle, and cell phone. there's enough overlapping wood between the two pieces you screw together that I'm not worried about it folding/breaking. The lip is super helpful so things don't fall off. Size-wise it is just big enough to perfectly fit a 13" Macbook without any room to spare. Happy to support a small business rather than Wayfair!

Bought this for my Granddaughters loft bed at college. She loves it!

Sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. I have an adjustable bed which makes it hard to reach back to my nightstand. I have this attached to the bed closer to my feet so I can just sit forward to put remotes/phone/drink down without having to twist and reach behind me to get my nightstand. Very well built, the clamps keep it firmly in place.

I purchased two of the larger-sized Bed Shelfies (the Bed Shelfie Plus) for my sons who were going away to college for the first time this fall. Both colleges had the majority of their dorm beds lofted, so I wanted the boys to have a place for their alarm clocks and to set their phones or a drinks etc. I selected the Bed Shelfie because, from reading reviews, Bed Shelfie seemed to have the best clamping mechanism and also because Bed Shelfie offered the larger sized shelf, which the others did not. Also, Bed Shelfie seemed to be the original, or at least one of the originals -- the product the others were trying to copy. The Bed Shelfies arrived promptly, were well packed, and looked great and very well made.To be honest, my sons scoffed at me for buying the Bed Shelfies when they first arrived looking much like flat pieces of wood. My sons frequently teased me in the weeks leading up to dropping them off at school that I was buying too much stuff for their dorms -- most of which was stuff they were sure they would never need. They put the Bed Shelfies in that same category. However, upon arriving at the dorm room for my first son, he changed his tune almost immediately. He took one look at that bed and almost instantly began asking where "that bed shelf thing" went. He tore through all the stuff we'd brought until he found it and immediately put it up. It was so simple to install that he did it himself without any guidance or help from his father. He also announced that I had been right and that he had been wrong, and that the bed shelf was the best thing I'd bought! Music to a mother's ears. When we moved his brother in to his own dorm later that week, he was similarly happy with his shelf. My first son had a bed that had no real headboard or footboard and no railings other than the ones holding the springs in place which were more or less bent in an "L" shape. Nevertheless, my son was still able to clamp the Bed Shelfie to that railing and it worked perfectly. The other boy had a headboard and we clamped the shelf to that. It worked perfectly there as well. The large shelf may be a little pricy but I'd say it was worth it. The only thing I did not like was the color choice of the Plus sized shelves. All of the colors seemed geared to girls' rooms. There were no dark colors like black or navy, which is what most boys want. In the end, I went with the natural color, but would have preferred black. Still, this is a great product, a great idea and I am telling my friends all about it.
