Art Page-A-Day Gallery Calendar 2023: The Next Best Thing to Exploring Your Favorite Museum

I've enjoyed this calendar on and off for almost twenty years. For the early years the publisher used classic works and masterpieces from all over the world. I suppose copyright got expensive so then for a few years they exclusively used the Met. I complained regularly, as I'm sure many others did. The Met, of course, has a fabulous collection but it ended up being a lot of textiles and furniture and Egyptian art. Fast forward and the last few years I guess they've gotten smarter and are using a variety of pieces from mostly private collections. It's nice, because you'll get to see a work by a great master you've never seen before and probably never will. There are also some lesser known works from small but important museums from around the world. I have really enjoyed the variety of works in this year's calendar and the artwork is excellent. The calendar itself is super classily packaged with a very nice clear plastic display case, much nicer than most of the other page-a-days, even from Workman. Good job, Workman!

Art works are beautifully reproduced--there are two per page. the choice of selections is very eclectic. there are lots of no-name artists interspersed with a few masterpieces and some photos--lots of 19th century pap with pleasing color but no significance. in short "something for everybody".

Wished it had more 19th/ 20th/ 21st century paintings… fewer portraits. more folk art too.

This is my favorite calendar. I love that I get to discover a new picture/photo every day. It is exciting when you already know the picture and can admire it again, but also if you have never seen it before and get to learn something new. I like to google an artist I haven't heard of before, or a picture I haven't seen before, and learn something more about them. Unveiling a new piece of art at the start of my day has now turned into a small fun ritual in my usually repetitive and lackluster daily routine. This calendar brings me a spark of excitement every day.

I love this front and back style calendar. It is much higher quality than the tear off kinds. I had to share this creepy thing that happened because it made me laugh so hard!

I have bought several of these Page-a-Day Gallery Calendars for our home and as gifts and everyone enjoys them. They are all great - Art, Birds and Nature. Highly recommended.

Although the product is a good buy, worth every penny I paid for it and then some, it's kind of got a "falls short" feel to it somehow. At least for me.I think that could be because (1) the initial selection of artworks starts the year off on a hohum, less than inspiring, note, (2) and there's no value added stuff. No little extras that are so incredibly inexpensive to add, but can make a calendar so much more "worth the paper", rather than simply digitalized.An example might be a more appealing arrangement of artwork and caption or reference.These calendars are serviceable, but nothing to keep after 2023.

I was a little dubious about ordering this calendar, despite some very good reviews, as I’ve tried to find similar calendars before and been disappointed.After receiving this one I felt compelled to write a glowing review, because this calendar is brilliant! Superb colours and detail across a whole range of artistic works daily, throughout the year. A quality display stand too.Very pleased indeed!

The calendar is of the usual high standard they produce every year.Delivery amounted to one short ring on the door bell and an immediate departure. They didn't check if anyone was in and didn't deliver next door as per instructions if not. The parcel was not even hidden out of sight, just left on the doorstep for thieves to help themselves.

The paintings in the 2022 calendar have been absolutely wonderful. It’s like travelling around the world to various museums. I like the information about the title of the paintings, the artists and where one could find the original painting. This is just a beautifully produced daily calendar.

Item is great. Super gift for a friend unfortunately address label was stuck onto the front of it and couldn’t be removed so spoiled the gift.

Luckily I had the plastic holding frame from last year’s calendar so the one delivered smashed this time wasn’t catastrophic, but not impressive! Anyway, I’ve bought this product for several years now and it is consistently good with excellent quality fine art reproductions. Looks great on my window sill in my office!
