AC to DC 5W Power Converter Module 5V 1A Switching Power Supply Board AC 85-265V Variable Input with Indicator

I am just a hobbyist, not a professional or electrical engineer, but these have worked well for me so far. I am using them to power a motor for automatic window coverings I designed with my 3D printer. I've been using one for about 3 months now and it is still going, up and down at least once a day.I actually think the safety features of this supply saved me from burning up some components. I had a motor with a short in the winding and the power supply shut off immediately, and kept shutting off repeatedly until I had tested over and over to troubleshoot the issue.I'll be buying more of these to automate other windows in my house.

Mine worked just fine. Used for laser control system.

Does not work. Hooked it up to mains power (120V AC), no DC output.
