This drain is really nice looking. Most people don’t pay much attention to a drain - but you do when remodeling. This drain works well - seems like hair and conditioner is no match for it.Comes with everything you need to swap it in place for your old drain. Makes the shower look very new/modern.

To be completely fair, installing a shower drain set in mortar bed is not exactly your entry level DIY job, so instructions are more supplemental, and it should really be installed by a professional. Having said that, having a bit better explanation of the components would be helpful. The included printout did not match the product in form (instructions were for linear shower drain, product is square), but also not a match for the supplied part (drain base IS supplied with this set, but instructions say otherwise).Instructions aside, my plumber tells me that this is a pretty decently constructed unit, and is fair for the asking price. It comes with the parts he would need for the drain install, and should not need additional parts to make it work in an existing shower that is being demo'd out.
