Deep Roots: A Family Devotional for Kids, Teens and Parents to Encourage Prayer, Faith, and Family Bible Study

My family and I love this devotional. Our girls are 6 and 10 and understand this well. The verse and devotional with talking points is short enough to keep little ones’ attention. And our girls talk and talk about what we’ve read with us. Such a blessing!

What a beautiful and practical book! Not to mention aesthetically gorgeous! I am so grateful for this tool that I can use with my children. It has already allowed for so many discussions and memorization of verses that would have been difficult to do otherwise! Laura has made it easy for us Mommas to do what we wished, but found it tough to do.. this is great tool and every Christian mom should have it!

My family and I do bible study a couple days a week. This book has been wonderful connecting with everyone of all ages. We have a 10, 13, 17, and 17 year old in the house. All of the studies have been able to correlate with something in everyone’s day to day life. I highly recommend.

I really like the page layouts amd beautiful way it is written out on the left hand side. I have an 11 year old boy and the write up after the verse is easy for him to comprehend, it isn’t an overwhelming amount of writing and the question at the bottom of the page is simple amd easy for him to ponder. It has been the perfect fit for a morning devotional. I do wish it was a daily devotional amd not weekly. We have been doing a new one daily so we are flying through the weeks!

Bible studies are perfect to get kids interested in Jesus. We buy these and my kids will invite their friends over for Bible Study. Great starter kit

The content and writing style is wonderful. This book is really a wonderful addition to our family prayer time. Each devotional ends with a discussion question and it's been great doing those with my kids. I would buy this book again. I love that the author even includes a bible verse card for each week! My only gripe which led me to deduct a half star is that the scripture cards are done in one of those trendy scripty fonts that are not really easy for kids to read. Beautiful but not the most functional when it comes to kids, many of whom do not know cursive. Since this is a family devotional which keeps kids in mind, it would be nice if future prints could modify that.

Purchased this for a friend and her family as a welcome-home gift, they are very busy so I like that it is in a weekly format. It's very simple and cute!

We purchased this weekly family devotional to supplement our daily family devotional. Every evening after dinner, we read our daily devotional and added this one that we read Monday nights. We really enjoy the content and our teens enjoy it too! It’s great for igniting conversations and a deeper connection with them. These are the moments they’ll never forget so a devotional is a must and this one is great!
