Awesome little relay board
I am very happy with the performance of this little relay board, and it comes with a nice plastic case that I used in my project to help protect the electronics and wiring. Just be sure you buy the one that comes with the little white programming attachment unless you already have one -- it is required to program the ESP32 via the USBC port. My project involved driving 2 24 volt motors and there were some transient voltage spikes I didnt mitigate properly that took out the power regulator I had feeding this board - this board survived the transients so I am really pleased with that! I added some beefy bidirectional TVS diodes to the motors to knock down those spikes and haven't had any issues since.

Accepts Tasmota
Flashed Tasmota using the web installer. If you weren't aware already, you need to buy the Kit version that has the USB adapter. Follow the relay pinout diagram to configure the relay output in Tasmota. Also appears to have an actual ESPRESSIF module and not a knock-off.

Very nicely made. Works great with ESPhome
Solid board. Well packaged. I wish the little USB adapter wasn't necessary for flashing, but it's only needed for the first time ... after that one can do wireless updates.

Espressif-made brains
The board seems well made. It has an ESP32-WROVER-E module.Sometimes it drops from the network when powered thru the USB C connector. Can only be programmed with the Lilygo UART dongle, which is a negative feature for me. Please expose the programming pins IO 0, TX, RX.There are optoisolators on the coil side of the relays but they share the same 5V power which creates a path that renders the isolation useless. Removing the optoisolators would reduce cost without affecting the performance.

Documentation sucks
The board is great and I love it, it's fitting my needs perfectly but this documentation on the headers sucks, like IO39? The ESP32 WWROVER-B doesn't even have an IO39 nor does the actually esp32 chip support one. This makes more complicated projects, well, complicated...

This LilyGo ESP32 relay is great for those whom have experience with ESP32.
I saw that someone else actually wrote 'The ESP32 WWROVER-B doesn't even have an IO39 nor does the actually esp32 chip support one'. This is completely inaccurate, it there and is pin #5. See attached image of the pinout.

Works flawlessly
Bought this board for tests and it came out to work really well. The only issue is you have to buy adaptor to be able to program it, but it’s cheap so can’t really comply:)It has good quality relays, that are more durable than most common blue cheap ones everybody uses. Also it’s a great decision to put out additional gpio pins

Not even a year and it's dead
Really sick and tired of buying low cost electronics that just dies in a year to three years. This relay worked fine when all of a sudden, it no longer does. What's the point of building interesting projects with hardware that won't last.
