Barton 8,000 BTU 4in1 Portable Air Conditioner Dehumidifier Fan A/C Cooling for Rooms up to 500 Sq. ft with Remote Control Kit

It was not what I expected, but it is OK for my needs. The noise level is high. The drain system leaves a lot to be desired. It does cool very well and the dehumidifier function works good too.

5 star for delivery. I will be using in summer. More to come and we'll see how it works in a couple months

This is definitely made for smaller rooms but good god does it make that room a pleasant place to be.Would give this a 5 star review but the mounting plate for attaching the exhaust to a window is a bit flimsy and the drainage port for the dehumidifier is on the bottom back of the unit making it a bit difficult to drain it.

We purchased this portable A/C unit for during Hurricane Irma. It worked very well and we were very grateful to have 1 room with A/C. The only downside with this unit (and most likely any unit) is that you have to keep dumping the water out frequently.

Update: liked it so much I ordered a second one for my sons room.Just hooked this baby up. Our back bedroom doesn’t cool down with our central air so I decided to give this a try. Instantly cooled down the room. Noise is not terribly loud. I sleep with a fan so it’s equivalent to that. The only issue I found is my window doesn’t fit the insert as well as I would like. I plan on using some insulating tape to block out the heat. I also wish the tubing was just a bit longer but I am very happy with my purchase.

This product is garbage! The room im in is 200 sq ft. It Does not cool for crap and they wont let you return it. I called costumer service and they contacted the seller. Im hoping that i can return this. If you need an AC buy a serene life. Thats what i got and it does the job just fine
