The Best Wiimote
If you have a bunch of old Wii remotes from your original Wii and some money to spare, you won't be disappointed by throwing it towards getting these new themed ones (Mario, Luigi, Princess). They are seriously awesome.Pros:[+] They of course work with both Wii and Wii U systems[+] They include the Wii Motion Plus built-in without requiring the separate bulky adapter. Many newer games require this feature and won't work with the old Wii remotes (this was a huge selling point to me as those Motion Plus adapters looked ridiculous. I ended up selling mine and replaced them with these)[+] Sync button is accessible without removing the battery case! This was a huge design blunder of the original Wiimotes. Especially when you have your remotes in silicone sleeves; syncing/resyncing controllers was a pain. Now you can sync them without removing the battery cover.[+] The theming is brilliantly executed. The colors perfectly match Mario/Luigi/Peach's wardrobes. The + and - buttons are gold/yellow like the buttons on their overalls, the red/green matches their shirts, and the back blue part matches their overalls. The 1 & 2 buttons are a nice-looking brown instead of plain black. They even color matched the included silicone sleeves and wrist straps! Everything about them feels extremely high quality.Cons:[-] Really can't think of any! They designed these very well. Perhaps my only suggestion would be to revise them in a way to improve battery life a bit? But that probably won't happen any time soon.Other:[*] Google the Yoshi version they have in Japan! It might even be my favorite. It's a shame they haven't released it in the U.S. But maybe some day?[*] Hey, while we're at it, why not release a Toad/Daisy/Rosalina version since they are all playable characters in Super Mario 3D world? Conclusion:Easy 5 stars! Get all three if you can! Makes it even more fun to play Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Luigi U, and Mario Kart 8!

Don't buy third party remotes
I bought a Wii U back in December 2012. I needed some Wii Remotes w/ motion plus so I could take advantage of the fun multiplayer in Nintendoland. I ended up buying some real cheap 3rd party wii remotes with motion plus inside. The ones I bought looked exactly like these remotes but say 2in1 on the front and don't say Wii.The Cons of those 3rd party controllers I bought is that they needed to be sync'd every time you turn on the console. Also the remotes didn't sync up very fast and would have trouble syncing up right away. Compared to these Nintendo brand ones in which you can just hit the A button or something and it syncs up automatically if you've sync'd it before. A cool thing to note with these Nintendo brand ones is that the battery cover has a hole and an easy access sync button. Dont worry you can't accidently hit it either its not necessarily possible to tough it with your finger. However there is a piece on the strap that you can use to hit the sync button.Another con to 3rd party remotes is the quality of the product. With these Nintendo brand I get good quality remotes. Everything works excellent and I don't have to worry about any malfunction. The 3rd party remotes worked well however I've had some hit and miss ones. I've bought 4 of them and one just simply didn't work at all when i got it. Another worked fine for a few days then the rumble feature in it went out. Another just completely stopped working after a few days of use. The speakers in the controllers weren't always spot on either. During this Zelda game in which the people with wii remotes use swords. The 3rd party remotes didn't always make sounds when doing many actions in a row. The Nintendo brand remote made sounds left and right like it should.I will say that both the motion plus of both the 3rd party and nintendo brand worked great (when the 3rd party remotes did work). I have a theory that the motion plus works better in these remotes due to the quality of product you receive.I have learned my lesson in buying 3rd party remotes. I'm not going to say all the 3rd party remotes are bad (just read reviews on which people approve on) but it will save you headaches and regret if you buy these. They are certainly more money of course but I'd rather be competing against the other players effectively then having myself fighting the controller. Now if only Razer could make a sweet Wii Remote.

The only love Bowser gets
For the people complaining about "Good" quality not living up to your standards, you have to understand that "Good" has many interpretations and is subject to exaggeration by sellers.I bought my controller from Amazon.com and not any of its partner sellers because Amazon.com or Amazon LLC does not joke around with their product quality. If they say its new, you can bet your bottom dollar its brand new!I got my controller with the awesome new smell sealed in a box with no crinkles or dents. This is as new and pristine as "NEW" gets. The controller works flawlessly and came with batteries! (Not rechargeable though but I am pleased that thought was given to the end consumer.)The controller also came with the wrist strap and silicone case. It feels great in hand as expected. I'm not too crazy about the shade of green and how it dominates the yellow controller beneath but when I play, I'm focused on my game and not so much the controller. However the controller itself looks beautiful outside of the silicone sleeve.I love my Bowser controller as its a refreshing change from the generic Mario-Luigi fandom.I'd definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a visually distinct controller that shows love to the bad guy.

Good, works with Dolphin emulator, mild cosmetic damage
Aside from some cosmetic issues, this product does exactly what I needed it to do. It connects perfectly with the Dolphin Emulator, allowing me to play Wii games using Dolphin.Compared to another version of a similar product that was actually seemingly newer, it works better for the purpose I bought it.
