A great Transformers figure for those who enjoyed playing the games
As Bayformers fans would know, Sideways only briefly appeared in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He is seen attempting to escape from Shanghai, evading Arcee, Skids, and Mudflap before ultimately getting cut in half by Sideswipe. In the videogames based on the movie, however, Sideways has a much more prominent role in the story. Namely, how he actually escapes from Shanghai and even has a role in the recovery of Megatron's body.I played the Wii version of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen videogame. Next to Megatron's missions, Sideways's missions were my favorite part of the game. Escaping from Bumblebee in the Shanghai highway chase was short yet thrilling, and the mission to recover Megatron's body painted Sideways as a valiant Decepticon soldier rather than a spineless coward. With all that said, I think this is a great Transformers action figure for those who enjoyed playing the Revenge of the Fallen videogame(s), especially those who enjoyed playing as Sideways.

Finally, a decent Sideways
Always liked this guy, and spent plenty of time trying to put together a decent figure for him, so this guy went right onto my pre-order list when I saw the leaks. The robot mode looks great, and the transformation is the prefect level of involved but not frustrating. Shame they couldn't get the licensing for the R8 though, because the vehicle mode looks closer to a tricked out Civic hatchback than an R8, but it's still very nice paintwork overall.Hope to see more redecos of this figure in the future

Sideways but movie accurate
Finally we have Sideways from the opening fight in Revenge of the Fallen, including his weapon that was shown in a deleted scene. Has spindly feet, but a dab of superglue, while moving the joint around to keep it from freezing the foot in place fixes it.

Good figure but loose feet
This figure is very accurate to the movie and the ps2 rotf game the blaster it comes with is from the game. It hs a fun simple transformation and scales nicely with the studio series sideswipe. The car mode is accurate and very clean no robot parts sticking out. The only major fault it has is the feet the ball joints they are on are very loose and it has a hard time standing up. Other than that a solid figure and great add to the collection
